Reactions: 76-1 and red hornet
Who cares, don't give it any clicks.

We clearly deserved to get in. We got in. We lost.

Tennessee looked like Purdue playing at the only place we lost during the season. I wonder how that could happen? We didn't have the advantage of a 'tough schedule' they supposedly did to get ready for our game there. Yet they still looked totally outclassed.

Our one CFP loss won't have any impact on future years, our schedule will be different every year. The B!G is a gauntlet. They were careful to see the brackets to give the SEC a chance and knock out one B1G team head to head. Also, power rankings had Notre Dame quite high. We'll see how they do.

In Cig we trust.

We played bad, and it stinks, but road games at top-5ish teams are really f'in difficult.

In the Four Team era, 12 of 20 first round games were 17+ point blow-outs. Blowouts were pretty common with four teams at neutral sites, now make it 12 teams and add big time home crowds and guess what...

We get the shitty narrative from some talking heads because of our brand. Commentators that like CFB tend to really like our story.

In the end, fair or unfair, if we want to be at the big boy table and get the respect we want, we'll have to play better and beat some top-10 teams. Of course that's really hard, but we are putting forth a serious effort to do that some day.

None of these talking heads ever earned me a dime. Because these sombitches are lazy they would rather do videos and when they do write can only be negative cause the only guaranteed read they can possibly get are people opposed to their fabrications. Damn miserable profession with a rotting floor for a future. They can't save themselves yet they piss off the group who could.

Refreshing to see Joe Klatt response to Lane Griffin's criticism of Indiana "If your team played half as well as you tweet, you would likely be in", lol.

Kiffin lost to 1-7 UK at home.

NObody to blame but himself.

But, his attitude is typical of today's Tweety alpha male: zero accountability/get others angry at some escaped goat.

UK finished 2nd to last in the SEC.

IU football is very relevant in todays college football climate for several reasons.

One would be the phenomenal season they had and how it unfolded.

Another would be the personality of their head coach. Cig has put IU football squarely into the consciousness of college football. Fans know who he is and which team he coaches.

Now the challenge is to stay there and improve on it. I feel very confident that is exactly what IU football is striving to do and am excited to see how they accomplish it.

Kiffin just needs to have another affair with one of Saban’s daughters or a school booster like he did when he was at Alabama to get the attention focused elsewhere. You cannot take anything that dude says seriously. He’s a sideshow.

Hadn't seen it posted.

Now is he going to write another article about Tennessee getting blasted by more that IU did???

I knew this kind of shit would show up if the game wasn't close but damn!
Matt Hayes is a Florida grad and big SEC mouthpiece. He’s as bad as Finebaum. He has written these articles about IU leading up to the selection process for the last month. He has no credentials. He’s just a propagandist.

That and string 9 - 12 wins in back to back seasons together

There are a few types of games on any given schedule, including resume builders and resume killers. We lost our only resume builder game (OSU), but won all the resume killers, handily. Bama and Ole Miss won some resume builders, but also lost some resume killers (Oklahoma, Kentucky).

That, to me, is the difference and why Indiana deserved to get in. We did something neither Bama nor Ole Miss were able: win all the games we were supposed to win.
