I just got back from florida. it was better there than here in stl. it's just awful. my daughter is in the ozarks with the outlaws. it's like 105 plus down there. table rock. looking forward to more work travel shortly to get the hell out of town and this heat again. are there any conservatives that believe in global warming? i might have to get in line with them. i'm becoming a believer

Finally got around to finishing "Nobody's Fool" (took a break to read a Dennis Lehane novel, and "No Country for Old Men"). Really enjoyed it. Also watched the movie with Paul Newman, and it was good, too.
So, is the sequel, "Everybody's Fool" any good? The reviews are pretty positive.

I have not read everybody's fool. I want to say I stopped with Nobody's Fool. But obviously thoroughly enjoyed it. He's a wonderful writer. I think something's wrong with my memory. I mentioned to you once before that i've read these books and later barely remember any of them, sometimes not at all. so late last night we started under the banner of heaven on hulu. i didn't remember one thing about the story. nothing. like it was being told to me for the first time. and i read the entire damn book. i liked krakauer a lot too.
The interaction between Garfield's Pyre, and Birmingham's Taba is excellent. I liked Garfield more than I thought I would.
I'm having trouble with Garfield because I keep picturing him as Jimmy Bakker after having watched the Tammy Faye thing. And damn. If a producer has a native american role Gil must be the only actor in the rolodex. pretty sweet gig being that guy
I haven't seen the Tammy Faye movie yet, so i kept seeing him as Spiderman.

You didn't see video's cheating or how BIgTech influenced the election, or mailmen that transported ballots across borders of states, the media lying about Trump by cutting out parts of his answers - IE " good people on both sides" and I am not talking about the Nazis and white nationalist the media cut out. Trump had his faults which is why I want DeSantis to run in 2024 and not Trump. Many people besides the Prsident thought the election was rigged and with media keeping the Hunter/Joe laptop out of the news which 25% of voters said would have changed their vote.
I accepted the election, I wish Trump did, because when so many - the press, the courts, big Tech, etc were all in for Biden the election wouldn't change. There is a reason over 70% of people want voter IDs to make elections safer.
