The reality of NIL...

is there going to be a cap? is everyone going to adhere to it? are all qbs paid the same? are linemen going to make as much? how are smaller budget schools going to compete. there's a great deal to work out.
The big ten is 20.5 mil I think. A few aren’t going to be 100% though I don’t think. SEC might be around 21 mil. Everyone else less. I think that’s what i saw?

From there, it’s up to the school. My biggest question is title nine. But if it goes strictly by profit, then how does the breakdown at Purdue compare to a place like Nebraska? Because Nebraska makes way more in volleyball than Purdue. It will be interesting. We will get answers in April.

Collectives aren’t going anywhere. It’s a desperate plea by the NCAA to try and curtail the mess they’ve created but they’ve lost every landmark court case since the Supreme Court ruled their “amateur” model violated anti-trust laws for nearly a century.
I don’t think they are going anywhere. But they aren’t going to be as effective as currently. Will be interesting to see. No one knows what is going to happen.

Did they cause the mess or just allow it to spiral out of control? I mean they had control and someone took it away. Maybe they said OK let’s see how you handle this.

This has nothing to do with Purdue. Don’t bring them up and derail the thread.

Why are you here on your rivals board?
You seem to take a contrary view of what is discussed and are generally argumentative.

I show up at my ex's Christmas celebration and I bet no one would throw me out but why would I be there and am I there to just cause problems and I wouldn't be wanted there.

Kind of like you being here.

Not argumentative. I never feel like I’m arguing. But again. This thread has nothing to do with Purdue. So why bring them up? Why can’t we just talk about NIL and CB negotiations?

With that being said, here is a good article that found me that aligns with what I kind of believe is happening. https://www.cbssports.com/watch/col...transfer-wr-duce-robinson?ftag=CBS-16-10adi8e

The reason why is we don't like your BS. You better get to selling that manure. The west bank of the river is piling high.

Looking at rivals list of top 250 high school recruits: top 10 Indiana has signed ZERO. The good news is a lot of them will eventually be in the portal.

That's because all of these true freshman (aside from our most recent QB [Bell] ) were recruited prior to this season and all had committed (other than the QB) prior to it...

The real payoff from this past season should be seen in the "25" & "26" classes along with doors that it opened 3 to 5 years in the future....

Can’t transfer, guaranteed pay, must stay 4 years?
Did any form of this transfer concept/rule pass? (Affects NIL, but an independent issue that needs to be altered-IMO)
“First transfer is immediate eligibility, second is wait a year. Graduates gain immediate and some hardship exceptions gain immediate eligibility “.

I do not have a clue…I thought Vic was stating that the Michigan QB signed a 4 year deal….hence my questions
