They don’t want Chainsaw Musk and his band of freaks and geeks. He’s now underwater in favorability polling, and sinking fast.
So my wife is at a medical conference this weekend and met up with a couple of friends who are both doctors within the VA system. She told me they both have been getting the emails requiring them to report what they’ve been doing. They’ve also been receiving emails asking for their resignation. Both of these docs are specialists. They are purely clinical doctors only seeing patients within the VA system.
You may not know this but if a vet can’t see a specialist at the VA they will be sent to a private practice specialist. These visits are totally covered by their plan which means the government will be paying much more per visit than if they were seeing a doctor at the VA.
The VA already has a shortage of doctors. I don’t think DOGE understands what will happen if they start firing doctors and personnel.

So what. Trump isn't running again. He doesn't care and won't stop. The freaks as you call them aren't going to stop.
I read previously a number of docs took the deal. Free money and go get paid more in the private sector. These clowns have no clue what they are doing as they are sending these notices to sitting judges who are not in the executive branch. It's the department of inefficiency. The general concept has some merit but this is about grift and power, not savings. It will cost more to fix if this country is still in a repairable state.
A bunch of neophyte programmers led by a rich, chronically online spaz don't know what the **** they are doing. Shocker.
It’s bad enough for the docs who wanted to help the vets, but it will be much worse for the vets who will have to find new care in an already stretched VA system. It’s wrong the country can spend so much on defense and turn its back on the vets.
