The DOGE Clown Show

The DOGE team is incompetent, collectively a lying sack of shit, or both.

What is so sad is that a deep cleaning of the gov was needed and Trump could have been a hero even with people that didn't vote for him...

But he has fvcked this up as well.

$8M is the same as $8B when you look at it from a wider lense because $8M covers the one month cost of DOGE.

Curious if facebook dad Musk will have another briefing from the WH to clarify these numbers.

They're counting the whole contract, not what's left when they give numbers.

DOGE is stoking the desired outrage about specific agencies that Trump and MAGA hate without going after huge pieces of the federal budget - - like defense spending and programs that have bipartisan support like Social Security and Medicare - - that would actually make a meaningful difference in the deficit.

The net result will be symbolic culture war savings and whatever Musk decides to do with PII and other sensitive information/documentation he's become privy to.

I agree with Musk that nobody bats 1.000, but it should be realistic to expect that he bat higher than moving that decimal one place to the left.

The US government is trending the way of a Jersey Shore casino, Trump steaks, Trump water, Trump University, Trump magazine, the Trump Foundation, the USFL, Trump's marriages, his health, looks, child rearing, and moral compass.

Literally the only thing he has been good at is playing an outlandish and ridiculous CEO on reality TV and convincing enough people that outlandish and ridiculous caricature of a serious person would make a good president.

There should be a rule barring further government grants to Musk's companies unless (1) Musk himself performs the math calculating the entry, orbits and re-entry for his next space shot, and (2) Musk has to ride on his own next space shot.

Musk is not a math genius.

Speaking of PII, I hope Musk/DOGE release some of Trump's inter-company tax information without realizing what it is.

That isn’t good man. Trillionaires will be able to buy their own Country.

Think about that.
I don’t think it’s good either. I love Musk sticking it to the lefties bc I’m petty but buying your way in is a massive problem. Whether it’s soros tipping the scales in cities across America with DA races or Musk buying a fed election it’s a massive problem.

I said before this last four years revealed two massive problems that are the biggest in politics imo. The broken biased legacy media and billionaires. Musk fixed abc nbc cbs late night shows and the papers by buying Twitter tuning up zuck the cuck coupled with the advent of joe Rogan and the like. Joe can drown out the view. Let in all speech. Flood the market with speech. That’s the best equivalent of a modern day fairness doctrine.

Now we’re left with the billionaires. How do we fix that? Contribution limits. Restrict out of town $. Etc. I don’t know

He may have big numbers but there's no indication he could calculate them himself, or competently supervise his staff's calculation.

On the bright side for you guys, your rising star Musk has net worth that rivals that of Trump's kindred spirit Putin:

However, Trump, Musk and Putin hide their finances so well and tangle them into disputable real estate values, no one knows.

Joe Rogan’s Infatuation With Elon Musk Is Angering His Fans
"The most prominent podcaster in the world used to forgo politics. Musk’s entry into government has him singing a different tune."

Inevitable. No different than late night hosts I suspect. At some point it’s a turn off. I have been a big joe Rogan fan for ages. Largely bc I loved ufc in the beginning and he was right there staring longingly at those belts. He’s a clunkhead but a very good interviewer as he lets people talk. Get too far away from the fights and jokes and into the world of a billionaire that blue collar fight crowd is going to ask wtf. They have literally nothing in common with Musk.

I will add tho Dems really screwed the pooch the last decade plus. Joe Rogan and his millions of minions are historically Dems.

We bitch here and everywhere about pay to play youth soccer then allow this shit. The American people have been cucked by a bucha pasty white bad hair nerds. Think about THAT will ya.
Flood the market with speech.
Flooding the market with content** is the problem. It's overwhelming and far too variable/bespoke.

Bring it back.

***Content - we call it speech (which is quaint) but it's probably better than calling money "speech,"

Tech media rendered the fairness doctrine impracticable

Cool

And who owns that? So excited for my kid's future being orchestrated by a bunch of dude's that didn't get laid til they had $10m in a valuation.

Also, so cool. I'll be in the hills.
Present. Not future. Social media gobbled them up. But they’re in it together

I'm sad. We should all be sad. This is sad.
No hyperbole it is sad. And hoos and others will come along in defense of youth but my youth was better. It was more fun. And just better. And my daughter is incredibly popular and “happy” but her childhood isn’t as good as mine. Tech has made it worse

His Swasticar is tanking and it’s 60% of his wealth. And if the political tide changes he just might lose some of the government welfare contracts he takes advantage of.

Doesn’t look good for America, at least the old America, to prop up a Nazi, but this ‘Trump America’ seems to embrace it.

Ah. There it is again.

Once again the Republicans have no vocabulary to tell us what Republicans believe in or why Republicans' judgment is superior to anything, up to and including the judgment of a dead stick.

Republicans' cannot express their political philosophy without referring to Democrats. Leader McMurtry just did this right there, in front of all of us.
