I'd hate to poach from the women's team, though I think she'd do amazing things for this program. She can flat out coach.

We could be the first (?) D1 Mens team with a female coach. IU administrators would probably love the idea.

There are some major differences in managing a high level mens program, and womens program.

She'd do fine, I'm sure. Maybe she'd be even better on the men's side?! Who knows.

But its A LOT less likely she'd ever have a team as talented as hers, that would stay together as long as hers has. Too much temptation and lure on the men's side...NBA money is more tempting than WNBA money, NIL money is more tempting...and that causes the portal activity to be more tempting.

She's done a great job, but having high level starters that have played 2-3-4 years together is a HUGE advantage, that very few men's coaches, have the luxury of any more.
