I was reading some comments on Facebook from fans about this game.
Someone mentioned it will be a tough game and others were laughing at the notion.
I know I’m not talking about the posters on here but a lot of new fans that have decided to join this ride have it in their heads that we have turned into Ohio State overnight.
Another said we own the Big Ten now 🤦♂️ I’ve been going to games for over 50 years and I’m enjoying the hell out of this but let’s not get too carried away with the crazy talk.

Will be going to that game as my brother-in-law lives in Midland. From what I understand there is a huge continent of Indiana fans attending. Now back to the here & now, focus on the next game.

Agree with you whole heartedly, 50+ year fan here. Went to Pasadena, getting tickets for Sparty and never miss a home game. But I've seen this movie before. Washington is the biggest game of the year this week. One game at a time, take no one for granted (even purdue) and shock the world. Go Hoosiers!

I told him that first, it's not especially classy. Second, this isn't basketball and antagonizing people in a game where it's not terribly hard to injure an opponent on purpose with a cheap shot is poking the bear. Third, and most importantly, we've not been nearly good enough for nearly long enough to be dicks about winning.
*asterisk because he often ditches me to join the student section. So I can't vouch for what he does when he's in there. I'm pretty sure he's joined a frat by now. Precocious 10 year-old.
Iowa apparently thought They would have an easy game in East Lansing last Saturday night. How did that work out for them?
Will be a tough game. Really our first hard road environment and we'll actually have a target on our back, which is something new!
Iowa has an atrocious offense and it’s not like MSU has a great defense. The old west teams are really struggling.

I'm confident Indiana will have it's ears pinned back for great game against Washington.
They need to go into every game confident that they can win , and also afraid that they could lose. That way you don’t take any game for granted .
It’s pretty incredible but Cignetti has instilled a mindset into the team that losing is unacceptable and only winning will be tolerated. This team is a machine and has yet to be rattled in a single game.
Glad I kept my Peacock subscription from basketball season. Used it for Olympics coverage over the summer, too.

I don’t get the impression Cignetti is that much of an intolerable hard-ass. I think a confident coach naturally instills confidence in his players. His calm, even keel demeanor keeps players relaxed, playing loose while maintaining focused on the task needed to succeed.

Yup and Don Fischer just gained a listener for certain for MSU. BTN builds a network and brand but yet when 2 B1G programs meet in a pretty fine stadium and 1 team on a magnificent quest and they don't broadcast it. All those BTN channels laying there doing nothing because these Execs are some of the dumbest bastards to ever crap behind a pair of shoes. Astonishing. Why not enhance our $ value of a BTN subscription by keeping B1G games on BTN???
It’s a scheduling draft. Each network gets a pick of games. NBC wanted IND/MSU for Peacock, but really they wanted to put the game on the actual network (MSU balked because it would’ve then been a night game).

Bullshit is still BULLSHIT no other statement can be made. The conference is involved in agreeing with that POS agreement. As far as "get used to it" nothing changes until somebody pisses down an offending someone's throat. That's something to be lived with.
You can bet that if Ohio State, Michigan, or Penn State were playing a non conference game against Our Mother of Perpetual Motion, it would never be relegated to Peacock.
Correct. And last year MICH had one of those “Our Lady of Perpetual Motion” games that got relegated to Peacock.

Good post. Exactly, which is why people (networks) pay tens of millions of dollars to schools for the rights. They make 100 times and fans pay. I do not do Peacock, but NBC has a plan, and they paid to execute it. Time to sneak down for a burger at the local bar. Go Hoosiers!
If it was a noon kickoff I would've made the drive. Of course we can't get a home kickoff at 3:30, but away to Sparty gets it. I really hope the UM game is 3:30 or even 7PM.
As long as IU follows through and beats MSU this coming weekend, I suspect that the last 3 games will all be over-the-air telecasts. I'm pretty sure that FOX will take the Michigan game and probably the Ohio State game. You better believe CBS or NBC would want the Ohio State game so it would be interesting on who would have the first selection if FOX doesn't do it. If things really go right and IU defeats Ohio State, FOX is already committed to the Michigan at Ohio Stae game in the noon window. That means that the "Bucket" game would either be at 3:30pm on CBS, or at 7:30 pm on NBC. More than likely CBS since NBC would also have interest in the Notre Dame at USC game which would then be shown in prime-time.
First pick isn't Fox's every week. The Michigan game is definitel ythe most attractive Big Ten game that weekend, but if it isn't Fox's choice to go first, then we won't be at noon.
NBC has a noon B1G window on 11/9 (FLST/ND in primetime). FOX will have a B1G game at 8.
