Conference play is upon us as our Indiana Hoosiers take on the Bruins under the lights (well maybe by the third quarter) of the Rose Bowl. What are we thinking about the game today? Updates from the program? Hoosiers attending, how is Pasadena? I for one am excited for potentially the biggest game of the 2024 Indiana football season. This game will make Indiana looked at as no longer a bottom feeder this season or Hoosier fans will be left wondering if conference play will be more of the same from the last three seasons.

Viewing Information:
Start time: 7:30 p.m. ET
TV: NBC/Peacock
RADIO: Indiana Hoosiers Sports Network

That would have been a 50-yard field goal. Do they not have confidence in the kicker or were they just being aggressive? FG makes s it a three-possession game. I know 50-yards is no gimmie but neither is 4 and 6.

What a freaking coaching and gameplan. As fun as 20-9-2020 was this is different.

On that long throw that got us down to the goal line blocking picked up two blitzers on the right side, allowed Rourke time to lob up that throw for 19. BTW Cross made a pretty difficult grab earlier in the drive to keep things going. That's a ball that many receivers don't pull in. Also that TD run, contact in the backfield but he spun away then found some space to knife through. This team is talented, well-coached and has good football instincts. That's a good combo.

Grrr, just don't let them score again to start the 2nd half. I wonder if Cig will try to get a drive started or just run it twice? How many TOs does UCLA have?

Well…we’ll see how much we’ve grown since week 1. We were pretty bad in the last 2/3 of that week 1 game. If we do that again, they’ll catch us.

CCC = BAMF

I love the layer concepts that put the defense in conflict. If they bring pressure we are picking it up and picking apart the 1 on 1 matchups. The UCLA D doesn't have an answer quite frankly.
