Plyometrics is so hard!! I do bench tris one day. Shoulders bis the next. Free weights No legs.

I haven't lifted in 3 years--torn rotator cuff that just has never seemed to heal right. But, best advice I ever received was don't do a lick of barbell work--dumbbells only. I never cared for plyometrics --probably should give it a try. 4 days a week I do 500 hindu squats. My legs still suck ass, but at least I'm blown up

Damn that’s a lot!!!!

That is impressive as hell tho
Dog and I also go 2 1/2 miles at 5:00 a.m. every day and then the same at night when I get home. Weekends we are out the door by 6:00 a.m and go 5-6 miles. Good pace walking and maybe 3/4 of mile running because I hate running. Has made a huge difference in blood pressure and stabilizing blood sugar without a ton of insulin (type 1 diabetic). Also, I like to pretend my penis has doubled in size.

Once you get good at squats, you can get out 500 in about 20-25 minutes. Form is everything
That 20 minutes Is how I have kept up lifting. I do four sets of bench four sets of triceps. Done. 20 minutes. Next day four sets of military press. Four sets of curls. Done 20 minutes.

The walking you’re doing is solid. They say 10k steps a day but damn that’s a lot and time consuming

Mondays- legs, shoulders, core, cardio
Wednesday - arms, core, cardio
Friday, plyometrics, core

I workout with my trainer 3 days a week for 45 minutes each day. A great workout doesn’t have to last hours. I usually do about 4-5 exercises in 3 sets. Each set includes a round of cardio. Cardio consists of either rowing (1st set 500m at 7000rpm, 2nd round 400m at 7500rpm and 3rd set 300m at 8000rpm). Or we’ll do the elliptical for 2 minutes at a difficulty of 15 or 20 max and try to maintain a speed of 5.0. Or we’ll use a treadmill at an incline (I don’t recall what) for two minutes decreasing speed every 30 seconds beginning at 6.0. The goal is usually to reach a minimum of 170bpm.

Plyometrics day is definitely the hardest. No lifting, just jumping, pushing, wall ball throws, box jumps, and double the cardio of what I mentioned able followed by core work. All this is accomplished in a 45 minute workout.

Before I found this trainer I would spend 30-45 minutes doing cardio on a treadmill or elliptical and never get my heart rate quite as high or feel as tired. The same cardio work can be done in a total of 6 minutes. Much more efficient! Unless you want to stay on the machine and watch the ladies.’

When you are benching, and your trainer is spotting you with his short shorts on, do his balls ever sweat on your forehead?

I know we don’t know each other in person, but the shot was there, I had to take it

No ball sweat, but sometimes there are some uncomfortable moments. I’ll be on a a bench doing some side core work with him sitting on my legs. Feels a little to close to the sac for my liking but knowing he’s straight is good enough for me. At the end of each workout he gives me a good stretch and honestly I could never do what he does because I’m so damn sweaty. I wouldn’t want to touch someone in that situation unless it’s a women. He stretches all his clients man or woman.

Man, whenever Lamine Yamal is on it’s must watch TV, but there’s three games I’d really like to watch. I wish Livepool/PSG would have been the highlighted early game. It deserves everyone’s attention.

Just rewatched highlights - holy cow PSG dominated the game, Salah plays mediocre and then his substitute comes in and wins it near the end. Crazy.

Also, Rapinha's goal was so clutch for Barca.

Yea they def stole that game. I now expect Liverpool to blow out PSG. I don’t think you’ll see another subpar game from them. I’ll predict 2 or 3-0.

Speaking of cheering and great atmospheres, have you guys ever watched an Iowa home wrestling match? They get behind that shit. You’ve got cheerleaders, pyrotechnics, heavy metal music, it’s on! Since my daughter wrestles now we’ve been watching some of the wrestling on the big ten network. It’s intense!

Two keys are: 1) Marquinhos - can he keep the backline together against counters and 2) Dembele - had a couple nice runs with crosses in the box, nothing resulted from it. If he can get a few shots and create opportunities, they could make it interesting.

Watching Six Natiobs rugby game between France and Ireland. They just did a yellow card review with the referee watching the replay on the big screen while he was explaining to the crowd exactly what he was reviewing. He called a yellow and then explained why. Love it.

Referees also get no shit from players. They called back a beautiful run for a try by France and the player was joking with the referee after the call. Unlike a bunch of pussy soccer players getting in the ref’s face after an obvious call or flopping on the ground after someone touched their foot.
