So yes I’m willing to stick with Amorim, but like going to the bathroom if I sit twice and nothing happens it’s time to abort the mission.
you might need to call a doctor--unless you are like me and exercising your constitutional right as a man to "fake poop" to escape the wife and grab some peace and quiet.

If I get banned from the thread will it just disappear?

Why would you want to do that? This is a space of learned individuals discussing the beautiful game. You won’t find 3 more legendary players on the same side, yet alone midfield, as Iniesta, Xavi and Busquets. Little 3 of the best players at their sport in the history of any sport, playing together at youth levels on through creating the most dominant club and playing the game like fooking wizards. Never seen anything like it. And we won’t either
That's a tough one and you're probably right (especially with the youth connection).

My dad saw Milan (HS basketball in Indiana not the eyetailians) play in person and said the TV/video playbacks didn't do it justice. Said the only thing people ever saw was the game against Muncie Central (when they won the state championship) and that in that game, knowing they couldn't really compete running up and down, they slowed it down to a crawl. But during the regular saeason or sectionals playing against "normal" teams it was like watching people with ESP playing a game. The starting 5 always knew where the others would be. Drop off, hand offs, back cuts, etc would happen with just a glance.

I suspect there are a great many basketball stories of teams playing together long enough. LIke soccer, there's enough uninterrupted play for players themselves to sort out the patterns and play more instinctually.

Maybe some of Bird's Celtics teams or Magic's Lakers teams were like that.

But that's all I've got. Barca in the late aughts were ridiculous.

My God. You just compared Messi Sergio xavi and iniesta to some of the kids at Milan high school in hickory huck Indiana. Jfc. Delete your post.

Eppy Leeds is on too. Lest we forget the greatest sideline moment. That nod 🤣

No way Man City beats Real Madrid today right? Almost hard to say, but they are just not that special and they can't defend. I could Real Madrid putting up 3 or 4 goals today at home.

I tend to agree with you, but RM hasn’t been all that impressive this year so anything could happen. I’ll be watching.

That’s my lame way of saying I agree with you but covering my bets.

Right--when I said "at home" I meant at Real.

Strange things do happen for sure. I suppose anything is possible with Haaland as striker. He could touch the ball 6 times and score 3 goals.
their legs in the mf got old fast. On another topic I want to see if Messi is going to earn his $$$$ tonight. Rainy day in stoke. F off. How about 3 below with the winds coming in from the high plains playing against a 6,1 200 lb kid on a home grown contract from UMKC 🤣🤣🤣. Suarez thinks his knees hurt now!! Bwahahaha. Welcome to America!!!

My oldest son played with Jacob Davis at the academy for a year when they both were at Vardar--great kid, great family. I'm a sporting KC fan, but Jake is going to have his hands full tonight.

For sure, but can you imagine being a 23 year old american kid playing against Messi and Suarez? I am pretty sure Busquets no longer runs anymore, but still--all time greats!
My college roommate and teammates son is a homegrown kid and will play Messi later this summer. Mark him. We’re all going! Our entire team lol.

As for your son’s buddy you should tell your son to text him to get Messi’s jersey!! He loves keepers and I don’t think kc has any argies. He’s got a good shot! I bet better than any field player’s chances. He should walk right up to half field at kick off and ask! 🤣

Oh shit I misread. Jake is a right back at kc!!! Doing too many things. He will mark him. OMG!!! No I can’t imagine. That is absolutely amazing

Man City playing with two strikers--none of whom is Haaland. Playing a 4-1-2-1-2, and I know that people say "well it just really converts to a 4-3-3. I don't know. Pep may need to have a smoke and a couple of glasses of wine with his hero Bielsa to get some ideas.

Manhandled. Man City can't keep the ball. M'Bappe with 3 goals. Man City has 1 shot attempt. That's it.
