So was it okay for Biden,

I don’t know what “MAGA Culture” is. When I asked you to explain, you describe dipshits and assholes. Dipshits and assholes are ubiquitous and have no ideology. Attaching dipshits and assholes to MAGA is a specific political opinion and I accept it in that way.
Probably saying that the MAGA culture has made it socially acceptable for dipshits and assholes to be themselves in public.

Yep. I’ll ask Lamonica McIver and Hannah Dugan about this.
It is comical to listen to total partisan's like Hickory call MAGA crazy when in fact he voted for Walz. I guess Hickory thinks Walz is just a normal middle of the road guy and I guess in the modern democrat party maybe statements like that are middle of the road now.

“Tim Walz should know better, but this is what radical Democrats do when they don’t like law enforcement enforcing the law,” Sam Markstein, spokesperson for the Republican Jewish Coalition, told JNS.

Do you dispute that

A. The democrats are trending more towards looney left; and

B. This trend is largely driven by females?

I’ve listed a couple dozen traits that dominate among MAGAs. Yes, they add up to the traits of dipshits and assholes and they are dominating MAGA. That’s a culture.

Ignoring the... ability to detect anomalies at the near microscopic size is so non-SCIENCE....
Ignoring the fact that if you have a normal and unchanging PSA level and report no symptoms at all, then no doctor would ever go to MRIs or biopsies is so non-SCIENCE.

Ignoring multiple pubmed-index peer-reviewed RESEARCH PAPERS, instead spouting what the blowhards at Faux News tell you is so NON-SCIENCE.

That’s Trump, isn’t it? He’s certainly been wearing diapers for years and has the stench, according to those who have to sit near him.

I'd say that the Jake Tappers of the world were just very uncurious. I wouldn't call it a "coverup" -- more of a "look-away."

Former NYT editor Jill Abramson summed it up pretty well:

But I do think if enough reporters had pushed, the story was reportable. I worry that too many journalists didn’t try to get the story because they did not want to be accused of helping elect Donald Trump. I get that.
But this is no excuse for abandoning our first duty, which is to report the truth and hold power accountable.
I do not think this had any bearing on the outcome of the election. But Abramson is essentially conceding what many of us have said for a long time: that most of mainstream media is effectively a mouthpiece for Democrats. Of course they were afraid -- not just of potentially hurting Biden, but of "being accused of helping Trump."

Accused by whom? Well, their colleagues and peers, of course.

Oh they are, huh? And MAGA is primarily old white men.
So in other words, you made it up.

I should add that, conversely, there is also a right/Republican media that is pretty much the same thing on the other side. I only say "pretty much" because I don't think most of them give any pretense to being partisan and biased. Maybe others will disagree with that.

I've long said that I don't have much against biased reporting -- so long as they don't try to present it as unbiased. This has been the standard in the UK for a long time, and it works. Everybody knows where the various news outlets stand.

Who is "she"? Also, and again, there is zero chance to prove any of whatever you think happened. So you may as well start focusing on today.
She is 'Dr.' Jill Biden.

A jury might have a different opinion than a drug-addled Bolshie apologist.

It's understandable you losers don't want any scrutiny of the Biden crime family and their exploiters and facilitators.

Like Zelenskyy.

The $Millions paid to compliant 'news' personalities by government operatives to drive the narrative MAY have had something to do with it.

OK, fine....I'll bite.

What evidence do you have that government operatives are paying people like Jake Tapper, or people that he reports to, in order to drive a narrative?

Tapper was on Fresh Air (Terri Gross) today. I didn't hear all of it, but did hear him say that the "legacy media" didn't do enough to get past the "cocoon" (my word, not his) that Biden had been placed in starting in 2023. I didn't hear her ask or him volunteer if/that he himself was part of the problem.

No, it’s not primarily old white men.

The characteristics of MAGA believers have been documented over the recent years in many polls and analyses by the Pew Research Center, Gallup, Morning Consult, AP-NORC, YouGov, The Economist, Washington Post, New York Times, Fox News, PolitiFact, and the Public Religion Research Institute, as well as in many academic studies.

Group tendencies can be identified, in terms of greater or lesser numbers and percentages relative to mainstream Republicans or conservatives, but not as absolutes or in individual cases.

In their majority they tend to be white, male, and mainly older

One doesn't have to be a Democrat or a mouth piece of Democrats to not want Trump in the white house. That would be pretending the only issue with Trump is his policy positions

It's a step in the right direction for him. But the rubber won't really meet the road until they confront the most important question: "Why?"

I think Jill Abramson's explanation makes sense. Would they have been more inquisitive had Biden's opponent been, say, Mitt Romney? Maybe. All we can do is speculate about that.

But my feeling is that they're more like Fox News (etal) are with Republicans than any of them would ever admit. They're not going to do much, if anything, to hurt their own team or to help the other team.
