SNL head honcho Lorne Michaels actually said last month that neither Harris nor Trump would appear on the show ahead of this year’s presidential election “because of election laws and the equal time provisions.” Trump did host the show in 2015, prior to his initial presidential run. His opponent Hillary Clinton appeared on SNL that year as well, confronting Kate McKinnon’s impression of her

Seems unlikely. Presidential candidates appear on shows the other doesn’t all the time and in every election. The bigger question is was the bit funny? I’ve watched nearly episode of SNL from the beginning and sometimes it’s hilarious and sometimes not. This season has had some very funny skits. Weekend Update has some really funny stuff at times. We record it and watch it later. It’s past my bedtime now. 😉

That is not election interference. Election interference is when you call the governor of Georgia and tell him he needs to "find me" 15,000 more votes, or whatever it was Trump said.

I hope you are outraged by what Trump did. He should be in prison in the Benedict Arnold cell for patriotic traitors of our democracy.

Instead, he is running for President again, somehow, most likely because he knows swaying elections and buying off judges is the only way to stay out of prison.
