You should be on the show, dude. You're a joke.Broke campaign equal access law?
SNL head honcho Lorne Michaels actually said last month that neither Harris nor Trump would appear on the show ahead of this year’s presidential election “because of election laws and the equal time provisions.” Trump did host the show in 2015, prior to his initial presidential run. His opponent Hillary Clinton appeared on SNL that year as well, confronting Kate McKinnon’s impression of herYou should be on the show, dude. You're a joke.
Well then, they shouldn’t have done that.
So what’s the penalty? Why did NBC ignore the show’s boss? They decide to just go ahead with election interference?Well then, they shouldn’t have done that.
IDK. Do you?So what’s the penalty? Why did NBC ignore the show’s boss? They decide to just go ahead with election interference?
Nope. Seems reasonable they broke law if Trump wasn’t given equal access. I suppose there’s a process for a fine.IDK. Do you?
You guys are too much. He's probably too much a pansy to go on, just like he would not do another debate or go on 60 Minutes. He can't keep up mentally these days and he knows it. Nothing but tired sound bits.If Kamala went on SNL knowing Trump wouldn’t get equal access and that is against the law, she committed election interference.
If she wins, there has to be an investigation.
Guess you didn’t read what the guy who runs the program said. You guys are too much. He's probably too much a pansy to go on, just like he would not do another debate or go on 60 Minutes. He can't keep up mentally these days and he knows it. Nothing but tired sound bits.
I mean, it’s ridiculous of course, but it’s really no more ridiculous than Trumps conviction in the Daniels case, is it?You guys are too much. He's probably too much a pansy to go on, just like he would not do another debate or go on 60 Minutes. He can't keep up mentally these days and he knows it. Nothing but tired sound bits.
I would be shocked if this happened with Lorne’s say so. Seems impossible. So what’s the penalty? Why did NBC ignore the show’s boss? They decide to just go ahead with election interference?
LOL - you do realize that neither Harris or Trump came up with that bit, right? Nor was Trump the first real person to appear on screen with an SNL character playing him/her.
Trump went on Joe Rogan and Harris didn’t. Trump shouldn’t rest until Rogan interviews her - he only has a couple more days!If Kamala went on SNL knowing Trump wouldn’t get equal access and that is against the law, she committed election interference.
If she wins, there has to be an investigation.
Don’t get fiery. Simply pointing the skit was a lame rehash. Unoriginal and thoughtless. Like her campaign.LOL - you do realize that neither Harris or Trump came up with that bit, right? Nor was Trump the first real person to appear on screen with an SNL character playing him/her.
That said, I’m sure Trump believes Kamala “ripped off” his kit too. No surprise his cultists would believe the same.
She was invited on Rogan. She declined.Trump went on Joe Rogan and Harris didn’t. Trump shouldn’t rest until Rogan interviews her - he only has a couple more days!
Rogan gave her an open invitation to appear on his show.Trump went on Joe Rogan and Harris didn’t. Trump shouldn’t rest until Rogan interviews her - he only has a couple more days!
Nothing happens on that show without Lorne Michaels say so.I would be shocked if this happened with Lorne’s say so. Seems impossible.
IANAL but isn't that law just by broadcast station and not drilled down by a specific show on said station? So any Trump interview on NBC would count, correct?Broke campaign equal access law?
Seems unlikely. Presidential candidates appear on shows the other doesn’t all the time and in every election. The bigger question is was the bit funny? I’ve watched nearly episode of SNL from the beginning and sometimes it’s hilarious and sometimes not. This season has had some very funny skits. Weekend Update has some really funny stuff at times. We record it and watch it later. It’s past my bedtime now. 😉Broke campaign equal access law?
I bet you the Russians are behind it. Can we get the FBI to investigate? If Kamala went on SNL knowing Trump wouldn’t get equal access and that is against the law, she committed election interference.
If she wins, there has to be an investigation.
Fair enough. Also this skit wasn't stolen from Trump. It's a reaccurring bit they have been doing for years. Here is one with Mic Jagger...
Who knew Tim Kaine is a natural comedian. He was perfect in that skit.Nothing happens on that show without Lorne Michaels say so.
Everyone is shocked that SNL has a thing for dem candidates?
The Tim Kaine bit was funny as hell.
Edit- What's That Name? was the skit
Well, look who came out of their hole(s)!Just watched the opening segment of SNL. Brilliant! Spot on!
If she did nothing wrong, she won’t mind being investigated.I bet you the Russians are behind it. Can we get the FBI to investigate?
When he first appeared on camera, I thought it was Walz. Did a double take.Who knew Tim Kaine is a natural comedian. He was perfect in that skit.
Same here! When he first appeared on camera, I thought it was Walz. Did a double take.
This is annoying AF. The democrat party is as much a cult as any others.LOL - you do realize that neither Harris or Trump came up with that bit, right? Nor was Trump the first real person to appear on screen with an SNL character playing him/her.
That said, I’m sure Trump believes Kamala “ripped off” his kit too. No surprise his cultists would believe the same.
If Trump happens to win there won't enough of those in the world to meet demand. 🤣From what I read, SNL was unable to provide diapers and a wet pad for Trump so he backed out on principle.
Be a shortage of Xanax, zoloft, and Prozac too.If Trump happens to win there won't enough of those in the world to meet demand. 🤣
LOL - you do realize that neither Harris or Trump came up with that bit, right? Nor was Trump the first real person to appear on screen with an SNL character playing him/her.
That is not election interference. Election interference is when you call the governor of Georgia and tell him he needs to "find me" 15,000 more votes, or whatever it was Trump said.So what’s the penalty? Why did NBC ignore the show’s boss? They decide to just go ahead with election interference?
