I was surprised there was no discussion already regarding the payments sought by the ACLU on the behalf of separated immigrant families.

Or is it a novel way to reward key DNC donors and in-kind supporters with fees?

Payments are gonna happen, but they have nothing to do with the immigrants and separation. Biden and Karine Jean-Pierre put the message out loud and clear yesterday. These payments are to deal with the cruel and inhumane border polices of the Trump administration. Forget about whether the claims have legal merit.

This payment and message will be the Democrat response to the border chaos in the 2022 campaign and it will be used to beat up Trump for 2024. The media will takes this handoff and run with it. Biden is using public money to further campaign talking points. What a country!
