Second Boosters Approved

Gotta love a good conspiracy theory.
Not sure which part you are determining to be a conspiracy. However, we all witnessed the same thing and that was zero recognition of natural immunity for the first 24 months of this pandemic. Not by the CDC. Not by the drug companies. Not by the media nor our infectious disease expert, Dr Fauci. That’s a fact. The conspiracy is why it was never recognized part of any discussion by leadership. It’s convenient to say this was new and they were learning as they went. To a degree, that is true with any new virus. However, it doesn’t change any historical precedent on science as it relates to viruses and one’s own natural immunity to it.

Lots and lots and lots of people talked about natural and herd immunity beginning very early.

It was always and still is a potential outcome but never a good strategy.

That is fine for choices that don't effect those around you. For smoking and spreading a pandemic, not so much.
And there it is. Still can’t let go of the “it’s fine unless it affects someone else” narrative. Vaccines, I repeat, VACCINES have little to ZERO measurable impact on the spread of the disease. The next argument by the righteous one’s is “yeah but they take up all the hospital beds from the one’s who really need it” as if to say, a person who is hospitalized and vaccinated has more of a right to a hospital bed than one who doesn’t. Or they are taking beds from those who got sick and are more worthy than an unvaccinated person. Please. You and every one else are missing the point of people having the right to choose for themselves on their healthcare. Now that we’ve gotten through it all, just waiting to see where the proverbial goal post gets moved to next so the righteous group can continue to shame anyone who doesn’t follow the rest of the righteous herd.

Protected from what? I am not being snarky or baiting you. Every single member of my household has had Covid. No one (except for me) has ever been vaccinated. And I got Covid 15 months before I was vaccinated. I never get the flu shot and I never get the flu. Everyone else in my family gets the flu shot annually and sometimes they get the flu. Our kids are healthy. They eat well. Are not overweight. Etc etc etc. If anyone looks at the statistics of children and Covid objectively, it’s difficult to ascertain that the vaccine brings any benefit to children. Seems every stat you look at skews itself toward an outcome. Or an assumption. I look forward to a day where this Covid sh*t is as talked about as much as the seasonal flu. Especially when it comes to children. People are freaking obsessed with it.
Nice anecdotal evidence. I’ll stick with the science, especially since I know several people who passed away who were healthy, not overweight, and not particularly old.

You sure you aren't projecting? I favor single payer healthcare which will devastate big pharma profits, do you? You want them to make unlimited amounts and pay no taxes?
Yeah, and good luck developing any new drugs with companies that can't make a profit.

You leftists have never understood risk and reward. It goes completely over your head.

It is coming, I applaud the extra trials and research, but there are a lot of parents that are anxious to get their kids protected.
I take my grandkids to daycare every day. I don't know of any parents that are 'anxious' about their kids getting Covid.

Several have gotten Covid and been just fine. It's proved to be very mild in kids.

Your hysteria is over the top.

The experts version…. The one the huge majority agree upon. That one.
Was it the expert 2.0 version that said masks weren't necessary?
3.0 Or the one that later said they were?
4.0 Or the one that said vaccines would stop you from the getting the virus?
5.0 Or the next one that said you couldn't spread it if you had the vaccine?
6.0 Or the science that said you would never need another vaccine shot if you got the first one?
7.0 Or the science that said you wouldn't die after getting the vaccine?
8.0 Or was it the version of the science that said natural immunity wasn't effective against the virus that later said it was only effective for 90 days (expert version 8.1) and then later said it was as effective if not more than the virus itself (8.3) or now saying it's more effective than the vaccine itself (version 8.4) but not as good as super immunity (natural immunity plus a vaccine.....version 8.5)?
The experts seem to be rivaling Apple with releases of new Iphones. Are you on version 8.5 of the experts or one of the earlier models?

Looking forward to version X. Something tells me that one's going to be very special.

I clicked the link and am unable to locate the article. That said, all of the articles I have read (stopped reading several months ago because I lost interest), whatever evidence there was, it was marginal at best and not definitive. If one does their own eyeball test, you see person after person getting covid that is vaccinated. You see people like myself who have already had covid and then getting it again. Though I have not had it twice, I know many who have and are both immunocompromised and not. For every rule on this, there are exceptions. And for a majority of the rules (for both for and against any "rule"), there are statistics that are misleading and/or not a true clinical study. in short, I don't trust much of any of it and choose to simply see what's going on around me and with the people I know and take it all at face value.

Just because there are some paranoid parents doesn't mean it is going to provide significant benefit, particularly to the younger kids. It's simply a remedy to help Grandma and Grandpa and others with comorbidities, but clearly underwhelmed when it came to Omicron.

I will put $100 down that those "several people" that you know, dies of aids. Which complicates survival of.... well everything. Natural law wins out again, yet I give them their rights to do what ever they want, as free people! Why do you hate freedom?

So you don’t really understand developing science on a new pandemic? It evolves….

Nope, we need to keep it here, just like some of Mas’ stuff, so we can all see the kind of people we are dealing with.

You seeming care about when sub-5 year olds can get vaccinated.
I am. My niece works in a hospital and has seen more little ones than she would like. Been much better lately though, and most of them had other issues. She has three herself, oldest has been but others are too young. She’s not fanatical about it, but will be relieved.

So you don’t really understand developing science on a new pandemic? It evolves….
I get developing science. Yes. I can see where masks and vaccines are “evolving” science. Do you really believe that the “scicence” evolved as it pertains to vaccine and mask effectiveness? Were you an early adapter of believing Coronavirus would end if everyone was vaccinated? C’mon Zeke. Calling the science “evolving” is giving health officials and politicians passes on how this has been handled is as misleading as the health experts and politicians themselves. The communication surrounding this pandemic has been awful. It’s been misleading and it’s brought out the worst in our society.

This sounds exactly like an anecdotal experience which another poster just got criticized for?

In the vast majority of cases, kids already experience a mild disease compared to adults. There was an uptick with Delta but Omicron was much more mild.

So, why don’t we just vaccinate kids with immunodeficiency or other higher risk circumstances? That will give them the proper protection and reduce the likelihood of severe disease.

It doesn’t seem necessary for the broad group at this stage given the ineffectiveness at preventing spread of the latest variants.

Well here we are, you are still not and you can't. Of course you can get your ppl to do it. Will you be able to disprove anything I said? ANY of it?

I would be doing you a solid.

And no, I can't prove the people Zeke claims died of Covid didn't actually die of AIDS as you asserted. So you got me there, big boy.

Tucker convince you of this?

We know no legitimate researcher did.

She should? For her own selfishness, perhaps.
Damn...they have their hooks deep into you.

I think I drive past your little house with the **** Biden and Take Back 'Merica signs surrounding the pit bull dying on a chain in your yard.

I agree. Here are some of the most outrageous and misleading public comments that have been made:
  • "It's going to disappear. One day, it's like a miracle - - it will disappear."
  • "We have it totally under control. It's one person coming in from China, and we have it under control. It's going to be just fine."
  • "We pretty much shut it down coming in from China. We have a tremendous relationship with China, which is a very positive thing. Getting along with China, getting along with Russia, getting along with these countries."
  • "Looks like by April, you know, in theory, when it gets a little warmer, it miraculously goes away."
  • "We're talking about a much smaller range of deaths than the flu. It's very mild. I'm not concerned at all."
  • (Two weeks earlier, to Bob Woodward, on audiotape) Covid is "deadly stuff. It's five times more deadly than even your strenuous flus."
  • "You have 15 [confirmed US cases]. And the 15 within a couple of days is going down close to zero."
  • "I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in one minute. And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning?"
  • "I said suppose you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way. And I think you said you're going to test that too. So we'll see, but the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute - - that's pretty powerful."
  • "I like this stuff. I really get it. People are really surprised I understand this stuff. Every one of these doctors said, 'How do you know so much about this?' Maybe I have a natural ability."
