Trump could have fired him, but he didn't. I don't think there's anything at all that Trump could do to Milley at this point. President Trump said he's not interested in retribution anyway.I don’t think it’s argumentative. I wanted to know what you thought based on your life experiences in the military.
I have no experience in the military but if a subordinate in my office went around me and disrespected me and undermined my authority I would have fired them with no second chances.
Regarding Milley and acknowledging I have no military experience he should have resigned immediately when he felt like he couldn’t serve Trump respectfully.
