Battle of the Sexes

BTW, the abortion issue is about control. Why the absolute **** should the government have any say in women's bodies? Moreover, why the hell would ANY gender want McDonald, a rapist, to be a woman's "protector." So, yeah, controlling women's bodies is about--SURPRISE--control.

I must say, the lack of critical thinking--or thinking, period, for that matter--among Dementia Don cultists would be hysterical if it weren't so pathetic.
Yeah yeah yeah, you're a sexist. We got it. Help me understand, what is it, beyond his sexism, that's so alluring about Trumpkin? The racism? The hate? The Putin obsession? The compulsive lies? The sexual assaults? The 34 convictions? The fraud and cons? The election denialism? Etc, etc, etc. It's quite telling that our adversaries want Trump to win. Of course they do--manipulating him is so, so easy.

Well he’s not a progressive: we don’t support bail projects, defunding, open borders, climate zealots, cradle to grave benefits, student loan forgiveness, equity of outcomes, dei, crt, gender affirming care for minors, reparations, punitive redistribution etc.

As for abortion what about the body of the baby. Abortion is lazy. Wear a rubber. Pull out. Get on birth control. Take plan B. But personally I’m fine with 15 weeks and medical exceptions. Some of these red states have gone too far

What's that tat on your arm?

Texas anti-abortion state laws don't just apply to Catholic hospitals.

In Texas, women have actually been told to go home and bleed out some more to see if things will take care of themselves so that we don't have to.
Your going to have to provide a link or proof because I don't belive this for a second.

My wife is maga, was more so in 2016. I'm all about the chaos. She could care less about the abortion debate but it's a decision we wouldn't make. Me, I'm apathetic. The way I see it, the less future dem voters the better.

I'm with ya.

As racist as social conservatives are, I could never figure out why they were against legalized abortion, given it was designed to reduce the reproduction of black and brown people in America.

Seems counter-intuitive...

This lady died because the fetus still had a heartbeat while in the middle of a miscarriage.
That woman died in 2021. Dobbs was decided in 2022.

What a hack outfit The Guardian and ProPublica are. These outfits truly are the enemy of the people.

That should fall under medical malpractice.
Are you really this ignorant?
Well, prove what shooter said to be true then.

Barnica went to the hospital with cramps when she was just over 17 weeks pregnant on 2 September 2021, the day after the Texas six-week abortion ban took effect, according to ProPublica. (Texas enacted the ban almost a year before Roe was overturned; it now bans abortion from conception.)

That should fall under medical malpractice.
A. The trigger law signed days earlier had not yet gone into effect. How The Guardian begins that article is the definition of Journalistic malpractice

B. Even if it had, the Doctor's would have had a duty to save that woman's life under existing Texas law

C. None of this context is of interest to the abortion banshees who are desperate to beat pro-lifers over the head with any pregnancy related tragedy they can find.

These are some sick puppies we're dealing with Mr Silence.

I have only anecdotal evidence to go on, but the abortion ruling may well be the single issue that changes this election. It was absolutely the worst thing that could have happened for the Republican party, and most of them didn't seem to have a clue. It was a disaster that will damage the party for our lifetimes.

I've said before, the Republican party can't survive on old white men. Harris will walk away with this, and that might be the best result. The party needs to take stock in what it has become and change course before it's too late. They are losing an entire generation of voters.
Man you should load up with a bet on Harris to win. Great odds and you’re sure she’s a lock.

I've wondered the same thing. You could also ask why supposed non racist people support an inherently racist institution.

Several were on stage at the DNC who described exactly that scenario

"Maam, your miscarriage is incomplete, the fetus has died, but we are not allowed to do anything since your vital signs are good. This can take care of itself, so just go home and come back later if you need to"

A miscarriage is a natural process. If there is no threat to the mothers life then where's the issue? The fetus is already dead. You suggest aborting an already deceased fetus? JFC.

You did. You got baited on that Guardian/ ProPublica reporting. A man would admit it. But you are feminine. To the core.
I'm quoting you because in the articles people have posted but haven't read.

Ms Zurawski, the only one they quoted btw, spent 18 months doing in vitro. It hindered her chances at pregnancy in the future? She was already infertile.

https://theivfcenter.com/what-is-the-success-rate-of-ivf-on-the-first-try/#:~:text=What is the average success,generally around 20-35%25.

And before anyone tries to bullshit me. My cousin spent $10,000 on IVF without a positive result.

Of course my earlier reply to you disappeared.

I'll do brevity this time.

Miscarriage is a natural process. The fetus has already died. Do you suggest aborting a dead fetus?

Because my earlier post disappeared,

This means entering a woman's vagina for no reason other than a health emergency.

My wife had two miscarriages and had a Dilation and Curettage (D&C) to remove all the tissue both times. It's sort of an abortion but doesn't kill the baby because the baby is already dead.
So you would agree it's a medical procedure?

Look, I'm just a lowly BS I Biology graduate but I do understand alot of the things that prepare you for a pre med program because my undergrad was designed that way.

I think we could both agree there are way too many people who don't understand basic science or biology

Man that’s rough. Sorry to hear that, Aloha.

I have a friend who lost twins in her first pregnancy. She’s had two kids since but she and her husband still think about it.

Of course it is a medical procedure. So is an abortion.

A LOT of people don't understand basic science or biology.
