Indiana lost to...oh, that's right only ranked teams beat the Hoosiers this year.

Would like this twice if I could.

They're going to counter that IU also didn't beat any teams significantly "above" them.

If making themselves miserable is what gets them going, then more power to them. I'm going to enjoy the rest of this season and spend 8 months after that dreaming of rolling into the Shoe in 2020 at 8-0.

Purdue had:

1. The nation’s most difficult schedule.
2. 85% of their roster hurt
3. Had to play on the road AT Nevada.
4. Wasn’t provided adequate time to adjust to that Nevada mountain air.
5. Had to play Illinois in the rain when the weatherman said it would be sunny.
6. Played in the much tougher West division.
7. The Boilermaker Express wasn’t loud enough at games.
8. No good luck pigeon poop.
9. IU’s attendance was too low

The SP+ rankings equation adjusts for strength of opponent faced and they have us at 24th after adjusting for strength of opponent. Those are the numbers and numbers dont lie.
