While having an offense that ranked 315th in team 3 point shooting and 321st in team free throw shooting. And a SOS that was 30pts higher. And beat MSU (twice) while holding them to 62pts. And held Purdue to 48pts.

If you are going to cherry pick a few, I can too. I'm not saying it has been consistent, but overall the defense has been improved.

We turn the ball over giving more opportunities, and us not scoring should allow the opponent a lot more fastbreak opps. There is a 30 sec shot clock... how slow could it be? Indiana allowed 42% on FG and 33% on 3s, 209STLs and 142BLKs this year. Last year it was 44% and 37% 199STLs and 134BLKs.

I agree we were 1 win better, I'm just saying it's fair to say the defense is improved.
