18-4 at the beginning and end of the season but the 12 out of 13 was just effing ugly basketball. Why does it take 13 games/ several weeks to figure out what was wrong. There was a disconnect and it was not handled properly by the head coach. Sugar coat it all you want. A shit is still a shit. The honeymoon is over. It doesn’t take years to build a basketball program. Something just isn’t/ wasn’t right. We shall see in the near future if it has been resolved.

All of the so-called “football schools” in the conference have blown by IU on the hardwood. IU is now just a perennial mid place finisher in basketball. Next year will be lower tier. Nebraska basketball has a 6-4 winning record over IU during the last 7 years. What’s not more attractive about Nebraska basketball? Better facilities. Newer facilities. Better coach. No wonder we lose guys and there will be a lot more to come down the road.

I’ll pray for some kind of divine intervention but Lil Arch currently is “not tall enough for the ride.”

Some are hoping for a miraculous turnaround in 3 years or some extended b.s. time line. He ain’t making it that long.

Let's see ... IU won the national championship in 1973. And over the next 20 years, the team made the NCAA tournament all of three times -- one of those was 1954. So, that's twice in 19 years ...
