Sam Harris comment

America is broken. Customer service is dead. Died with The Greatest Generation. Killed by whiny bitches.
Culvers and Chick Fil A say hello.

Another shout out for customer service: Sweetwater in Fort Wayne. It's an enormous music store and customer service is really top notch. I've had them call me to check on a $30 order before, just making sure I was satisfied.

I don't accept that the sins of a grown child transfer to a parent. Nor that the sins of a parent transfer to a child. You do. Just a difference I guess.

Aren't we all supposed to be judged on our own merits?
Honest question:

Don't you kind of think that the sins of past white people in America transfer to current ones in some way?

Nope, I bear no blame. But because of generational wealth transfer I may have had advantages Blacks did not. Not much since my share of my dad's estate was $600.

So there is not an attempt to blame or punish people today. The question becomes how can we try to help people who have fallen behind because of the sins of the past

I can get behind that.

Sweetwater is the best music and audio equipment store in the country. I'm two minutes from a ton of music stores and I order from there instead specifically because their customer service is so thoughtful and thorough.

The Sweetwater experience is truly above and beyond….even in a comical way I’d say. Can‘t complain though

What's the problem? That people with power and influence are on a different plane when it comes to the legal system? I'm not sure what you're implying here.

I wasn't even aware that Hunter had been cleared yet.

If he was, it's not like he would be the first person to escape his punishment due to connections.

The one thing you can guarantee is that Hunter isn't going to be getting a bunch of democrats up in arms and saying how unjust it was if Hunter does get punished. There is the difference. We aren't circling the wagons around Hunter the way the GOP is around Trump.

Speaking of rough crowds the ceo of six flags said they are raising their prices, upgrading food and concessions, and getting rid of all the freebies and deals.

We went a few years ago and it was absolutely miserable. Dirty. Half the rides were closed. The crowd looked like a Walmart crowd.

I am remember when I was a kid it was a big deal to get to go. It was immaculate. The workers were presentable. The entire experience was great.

Trying to eliminate a certain "clientele", I assume?

Yeah poor people. Picture your state fair or local walmart. That's what six flags looks like. and teenagers being dropped off and left to run wild. i think people are buying a season pass for cheap, and then getting their $15 275 ounce cup with free refills that they drink sodies out of all summer and that's all they spend

Always amazes me how cheap season passes are to those kind of parks vs daily rates.

I assumed it was based upon the idea of people spending money once in the park.... but if they are just buying some food/drink passes too.... doesn't make any financial sense and just leaves a bad experience for those once a year visitors

The food is inedible to boot. I think they want to overhaul and upgrade the entire experience. I had thought they were always on the cusp of bankruptcy. Maybe this will work. I hope so. I used to enjoy going a few times a summer. Met my first love at a milli vanilli downtown Julie brown concert at six flags dammit

We were Kings Island goers as kids. Haven't been there in 20+ years, so no clue how it's doing now. But my kids are now the age they are into these parks..... I'm refusing to go to Disney.

Disney now has different pricing based on date. You can pay as much as $150 with taxes/fees for one person one day.

Disney ded to me.

You can go to Europe for the price of the full Disney experience. It's brutal
