It may be crap. When I saw the Tipton post about a Big East guard visiting IU and Iowa, I immediately thought of Conwell. But as it turns out, Tipton was referring to Enright from Depaul. Looks like Ben McCollum is interested in Enright too.

He was classified as a combo guard coming out of high school. He played the 3rd guard spot at isu because of his size. The fact that he duplicated his mid-major numbers at Xavier is something that gives me confidence he's a plug and play day one starter at the two. I wanted to pair him with Gillespie as our backcourt last year. Hopefully that will be an option thus year.

The only problem is who determines if the incentives were reached. The incentives would have to be individual based because so many things can screw up team goals, and that goes away from the team concept.

The portal is going to be much tighter due to supply and demand this off-season compared to the previous couple of seasons due to the covid year guys going away, essentially two graduating classes.


Also you have more money chasing fewer proven players. It's mind boggling that every single player on IU with eligibility remaining underperformed expectations and last seasons NIL value given what's on the table this NIL and portal cycle.

I’ve been thinking the same thing. We have already seen some of these deals go to 2 years. I wouldn’t be surprised to see incentive based deals in the future. It makes a ton of sense.

It all depends on the individual. Everyone’s different and have different values. But most will go for the cash.

All three coaches at his previous stops either left for different schools or were fired. Why wouldn't he transfer in that instance?

Could have had him for under a million last off-season more than likely. Probably a 8/9 seed also
