We need to pump the brakes on this stuff. I don't believe for a minute that Ukraine is going to be able to reclaim that territory and this is ratcheting up to a point where a mistake could cause things to spiral wildly. No offense to Ukrainians, but I am not interested in getting in a real shooting war with Russia over them and I think that Russia is acting pretty haphazardly on their own.

The missile had MIRV capabilities. They basically simulated a nuclear attack on a population center. That is outrageously irresponsible behavior on their part but Biden allowing the use of our missiles to attack targets in Russia was also an unnecessary escalation.

It isn't right wing nonsense. Ukraine can defend itself, if it wants to lob long range missiles into Russia, they are free to develop their own and do so. What I don't want is to get pulled further into a conflict that we really need to question the necessity of being involved in.
What would our response be if Russia had supplied Iraq or Afghanistan with ballistic missiles that they then fired on Chicago to defend themselves?

The Russian Oligarchs have to feel enough pain, to create a regime change. While that chaos is unfolding, the world moves in and creates real change. How all of this happens, well above my pay grade. But Russia can not be allowed to retain any gains from it's efforts in this war. Rewarding negative actions is just not something that the world can allow. If not now, shortly will be the time to step on Russia throat. It's not our sole responsibility, but this is what really must happen. He started it, the world needs to finish it (and him/ them)
I disagree, and I don't do well when some bully is holding something over my head, that we all know, if they decide to utilize that threat, is total self destruction. There's only one thing that defeats a bully.

Russia has been bleeding out, their hidden and shielded population are starting to understand and be informed. It's time to close the casket, but it must be in a very big, global effort. Peace through EXTREME strength. World wide strength.
However way it goes, I don't think Putin will be around this time next year.
My prediction is, he will reach some kind of deal where Russian forces are with drawn and a DMZ is established (sort of like Erdgoan's proposal - which is what I've been proposing) or some international peacekeepers come in; Putin declares victory over the Nazis and retires to his fortified dacha.
Or, Ukrainians hang on and develop their own long range weapons and begin lobbing them near and around Moscow and Putin falls out of a tall building.
