If Tamar played 30-35 mins a game and was allowed to shoot us out of the tournament, I would say it would be easy for him to average 15 points a game and shoot 30% from deep. Hell, I think you are about to see him chuck it. He isn't as good as I thought he would be, mainly because of athleticism and ball handling, but he can shoot it night and day better than Romeo.
I am glad he wasn't allowed to just shoot it everytime, and Woody is a much better coach. Archie and Romeo combo was horrid. We missed the tournament with a senior Juwan. Biggest underachieving season of my lifetime.
I think he gets signed by someone. Spurs didn’t want to pay $7M+ so he might get a lower deal somewhere else.

No, but I'll do my best to refresh your memory, although I admit mine is a bit hazy. You were pushing hard that Bates would win freshman of the year in the BIG and you were willing to put your $ where your mouth was. People wanted to take you up on it, but you didn't trust the offers and wanted someone to hold the $ if you were to bet. For some reason you didn't have the same distrust of me at the time and took the bet. That about sums it up, to the best of my recollection.

i am hypocrite, but what I say about Romeo is not in the same category as how people have treated tamar or Parker. I just said romeo can’t shoot, which is true. Parker was labeled a thug and bad influence, same as X. Tamar just was talked about as being awful over and over again.
Tamar has played in 4 times the amount of ncaa tourney games! Romeo did sit the NIT so he had that going for him

So the guy is a born and bred Hoosier who stayed home to play for the lamest coach I can ever remember, ranks in the top 1.5% wealthiest people in the world and a mod here tries to crucify him at every opportunity. Brilliant.
He and Adidas had a deal he would attend one of their schools. It worked out so unbelievably well for Romeo. He never made the tourney, got drafted in the lottery, never could make a rotation or stay healthy, and got paid $20 million because guys keep thinking about potential from HS. Amazing actually.

Idk, this is why I hated to see JHS and TJD both end up in the cesspools they ended up at. JHS should make it to the second contract, not so sure about TJD. That $3-4 mil a year JHS will make out in LA isnt really that much at all these days. Still a good problem to have though.
