I think it looks pretty good...

Use whatever gimmick raises money that can be used to pay coaches or players. Win games and I'll buy Bison stuff.

Ha! I had to Google Maude Flanders, thinking someone really did get killed with a cannon gun in Springfield, IL.

😅 .... My-dag-darn-diddly!!... Seriously, you'd never heard of Maude until now?!

Well, oakley-doakley.....

Not the bulls in Pamplona - A bison in Bloomington.

Possibly as much as 2200 pounds for an adult male - I would call that inherently dangerous!!
I'm not saying it isn't dangerous at all, just not overly so. Having a longhorn steer, a Shetland pony, goats, mules, and and buffaloes are dangerous too, and those schools still do their thing and they haven't been sued out of existence or even faced much scrutiny over it.

Bevo stomped right out of his enclosure, bumped into a couple people, and everyone was just like: Tee Hee it's college football!

It would probably be fine and a helluva Lotta fun. Plus, when Purdue tells us we can't bring our Bison into Ross-Ade, we have a new thing to make fun of them about.

I’m keeping the Block I, but I promise to smile at cute kids and coeds wearing a new Billy the Fightin’ Hoosier Bison hat.

Especially to the annual Bill Mallory Bowl where Colorado and Indiana play for the Buffalo Bill Bison Trophy.
I'm all in on this plan. And that would shaddup the schedule haterzzz since Colorado is a P4 school, if I remember correctly.

They should give this group a consulting contract and an office in memorial stadium.

I don’t know, every time I see the bison logo attached with a school I think of N. Dakota St. I remember the IU bison and I had an IU t-shirt as a kid with the bison logo on the sleeves, but I’m not sure IU should bring it back. Just be the Hoosiers, which is unique, and don’t worry about having a mascot.

Wasn’t there a Mr. Hoosier Pride man, who looked a bit hokey, in the 70’s? I like the bison better, but I still don’t see the connection with IU, necessarily.

I propose we have Harry Hoosier, similar to OSU’s Brutus Buckeye,
-signed, Harry Hondo 😉

If we have a bison as the mascot it needs to be a strong looking one. So we can call him Buff. Or a female can be Buffy, the (,fill in the blank) slayer.

I guess we could have a hot chick with a stake in her hand. That would be memorable. 😂

I actually kind of like a female buffalo named Buffy (the ____ slayer).
