Can always find the negative in anything. But the kids played well and CAM had them ready to play. Hope they gain the confidence and consistency needed to finish the season strong. I hope Morgan injury isn’t too bad or it will be a tall order for this team. It’s already tough enough with all the injuries.
That win shows they have the talent and the coaches got them ready with practicing shooting, confidence, etc. it baffles me how they lost 7 in a row to the teams and manner in which they did. Kudos to Archie and the boys. He will earn his keep with continued wins like that and not seven losses in a row.
You really think one game solves our coaching problem?
If anything this makes it more baffling because it proves we have the talent to beat anyone.
What will quiet people down is a big run to end the year and making the NCAAT Sweet 16 or further.
It was a great win that can never be taken away from us. Whether or not it was an aberration from the norm...some perfect storm type deal (it certainly looks that way with MSU’s free throw shooting and IU’s 3 pt shooting, among other things) or some sort of figurative corner, now turned, remains to be discovered. We’ll know more after Thursday night’s game. In the meantime, it feels good to be excited by the boys in candy stripes again. I enjoyed the adrenaline rush and appreciate all the hard work the players have put into their effort of stellar magnitude.
Damn proud of the effort the team gave tonight. IU needs that effort every night. One question, was that the actual play Archie called at the end of regulation out of a time out with: 16 left? I thought IU was toast after that; however, the team dug down deep and pulled it out. Great win.
