Re-Ordered Season tix

Of course it does. You are talking about doing away with the priority points system. A primary component of that system is financial contributions.
Ok, so you cant change a system you have to stay the status quo forever. Makes sense. I really don't care about priority seating, my only issue is football tickets effecting basketball tickets making people pay for something they don't want and wont use. If people want to give money to get better seats, have at it.

I don't understand what you're saying here and it doesn't seem like you really know how the priority points system and ticket allocation work.

Question: I live out West and haven’t been to an IU road game. My father and I are planning on the Nebraska game. I’d like to sit amongst the IU fans. I called the ticket office and they were sorta vague about when they realease the allotted tickets. Any idea of when they’re available and possibly the cost per ticket? Thanks for any help.

Disney World has an ingenious ticket system where users have magic bands and they then link the tickets to a band and use a finger print scan at entry. It ensures that the ticket used is linked to the person originally registering their fingerprint to the ticket. If you are wanting something that tracks actual users of the tickets they bought.

They get boatloads of people entering the parks every hour and, surprisingly, the process is extremely fast. It’s state of the art ticket entry process.
Of course, the lines to get out of Memorial Stadium are probably actually longer to get OUT than people wanting to get IN or re-enter after halftime.

i can't imagine letting some business finger print me, absent a gun purchase..

Financial contributions will always be a part of the seat assignment process just as it is and always will be at every school.

You're replying to the guy who thinks we should have kept the bleachers in the end zone and that the IU golf course was on par with Augusta.

pre SEZ, IU absolutely should have kept the south end bleachers, as a buffer between the playing field and the kiddie park, which was truly a wtf image during games when up against the actual field with B10 games going on..

as for my saying IU was on par with Augusta, that's such a total and complete deliberate distortion of what i actually said, that i can only characterize it as deliberate out and out lying.

either this is a new low for you, or you forgot which of your usernames you were posting under.

I guess I can see how the terrain has some Augusta-like qualities. :D Definitely a great piece of land to work with. I always thought any designer would love that piece of property to work with.

Smyers seems like a badarse. Expect the course to be great.

He did a buddy of mine's Dad's course down in Dallas...may host a PGA there someday. Probably the toughest course in Dallas now.

You should get your points incrementally. At the start of the fourth quarter present your ID and the tickets to be scanned. You, the ID and the tickets must match or you don't get your points.
Maybe there should be a retina scan at the stadium. And perhaps you should also be scanned if you leave the game early. First offense you get a warning. Second offense you get the seats with a bird poop.

The scanning process at IU is laborious and inefficient. Don't add another scan to it, please.
