IU does NOT want an 8 or 7 seed. Let's get that 11 seed and not play a 1 or 2 until S16.
This crew is starting to develop an identity. Having Rob and TG back has changed the dynamic. They remind me of the JJ, Coverdale and Fofe crew. They are going to be a tough out.
Hopefully after that offensive onslaught yesterday the Hawks cool off their hot shooting, and RU has a chance to beat them. Revenge is on my mind. Right now (early) RU up 13-5.

We're good enough to make a run. Now that we're (hopefully) in the tournament. Might as well hope for the best draw we can get.
11 Seed will be about as good a situation as we could expect.
Only "problem" with winning another game or two is it will likely move us up into the 9/10 seed range. And we don't want any of the top 7-8 teams, in the 2nd round, if we can avoid it.
The chance to win the BTT is too amazing to pass up though. And we could just as easily lose in the first round to whoever we're matched up with. So might as well do something really cool, that we've never done, this weekend!!! Even if it hurts our NCAA run chances a bit.
Probably Rutgers and part of that is because Iowa is playing so well right now. But I hate the hot head McCaffery's and would love for IU to beat them. Rutgers would be nice, too, since it's a fresh loss and game we should've won.

I’ll take a BTT championship and be OK with whatever seed IU gets.
I like Galloway, Race and JG (it sounds like he’s ok) taking turns on Murray. And no letting Bohannon going off. I like our chances of we still have our legs. They looked really strong today during the last 5 minutes of the game. Youth rules!
IU beats Iowa by at least 12, IU is a matchup problem for them.
Bates is not good enough to play in these games. Especially on D.
Every time he comes in the ball stops with him, he forces a shot, he misses.
Don't expect it to be close, if Iowa doesn't shoot lights out from 3 then it won't be.
Top 35 in defensive efficiency since feb 1. Gritty as hell on the boards as well. Plus we can hide jbo on Kopp and put Perkins on X.
I hope so, but Iowa is playing very well. I doubt they’ve faced a defense as good as the way IU is playing now.
Iowa will be the least talented team we've played so far in the tournament. I could be wrong but I've never been more confident going against a top 20 team then I am in that game tomorrow.

It was 50/50. X was clapping and walking down the floor past Curbelo and he stepped into X slightly. It was enough to create contact since X was moving his arms. I saw the same thing happen in the Iowa- Rutgers game. The B1G really needs to do something about these incidents, as well as players talking trash to the opponent’s bench. These games are physical enough without actions that just inflame tempers

If you watch it again, you'll see Cockburn bump Xavier with his chest after taking a step or two to get a better angle. Totally unnecessary contact after the play was dead.
