I’ve long had my thumb on the scale for one of IU, Purdue, Butler, or Cincy. Good educations at all and three of them have incredibly diverse curricula.

She wants to go to a school in a city because of “asthetics” and her mother is enough of a squish to let this happen.

Apparently Indianapolis and Cincy aren’t cities in her mind. It’s going to come to a head and I’ll be the bad guy. C’est la vie.

Does Ham County get the UC reciprocal tuition? We get in state rates there for Johnson County. It’s been a pretty popular school for CG kids. Their co op program is really impressive for career prospects.

Saying everyone knows anything (bolded) is a 100 percent tell that the poster is dumb and usually wrong, by the way.

Getting Trump’s COVID vaccine has zero to do with hating Trump. How’d you come to that moronic conclusion? Trump helped facilitate its rapid development, took it himself, and encouraged everyone to get it too. Why did you ignore his advice? Was that just one of the things he said we weren’t to take seriously?

The human lifespan doubling to ~80 is largely because of vaccines and antibiotics. Over a century ago, >40% of all children died before their 6th birthday because of diseases that we now have vaccines for, such as mumps, measles, pertusis (whooping cough), polio, rubella, tuberculosis, smallpox, etc. The problem is that there’s no one alive who remembers when a child’s survival over now mostly eradicated diseases was not much more likely than a coin flip.

But is that concept what RFK Jr is referencing when talks about no vaccine being safe and effective? I don't know. That's what it seems like from the videos posted here and the Rogan podcast he did.

The fundamental issue that is going to play well with the American ethos is that each individual should have a choice to take a vaccine or not and not have it forced upon them as a child. The problem, though, is that vaccines only work if we get a high enough % of the population to take it. Is there a middle ground here? Can we do better at identifying those who might have adverse reactions better? Would better testing, as RFK champions, solve this?

His issues with testing seem, on their face, reasonable. I suspect there's more to that story, though.

Well, if we know the latter is false, what else in the former is he worried about? Admittedly, I have t done much research it have not heard of any kids getting vaccines (MMR, etc) with serious side effects, though I’m sure there are cases.

Congrats man. That’s great news!!! Iu is a great choice. All around. I have easily been on a 100 campuses and for campus/town college experience it’s top 5. Maybe top 3. Big city is scary. Some schools your kid would be out driving. On and on. It’s a perfect set up

Help me out here. The Trump administration pushed out the COVID vaccine through Operation Warp Speed. Trump arguably helped get the vaccine out faster than it might have been otherwise, but someone getting the vaccine proves that someone hated Trump? What are you trying to say here? Did you not get vaccinated, at least in part, because you're a Trump supporter? I'm just trying to follow your logic here.

And where is your proof that people who got vaccinated will die earlier than they otherwise would have if they didn't get the vaccine?
