Sorry, I guess I left out the part about one of your best shooters missing a key free throw to win it because he attempted the shot while he had both of his own hands firmly around his own neck (major choke job).
Your girls did give a better effort than your football team did against Auburn but the result was the same: Big Time Choke Job in the Big Time, Big Stage Game.

The best basketball days for me were the same, when beating each other meant most likely winning the B1G.
Lol, I get that, and it's the same way I feel when IU loses. Saves me the unbearable chest thumping and gloating of friends and coworkers. It was almost unbearable in the pre big 10 season until it fell apart. Probably the same everywhere Michigan/OSU etc....MSU/Michigan....
The Knight vs. Keady battles were legendary & usually meant a hard-fought, bruising game with a lot of smack talking before & after. It was a more intense rivalry then, at least for some like me.
You're right I left out having one of your best shooters Choke at the foul line and having two guys whiff on a routine foul shot blockout to allow VA to get the shot to win it.

Too much talk. Indiana, for its part, hasn't held up the rivalry since 2012 - 2013. Hoping to have the on court results speak for themselves in the future though IU has a way to go to become consistent. Congratulations on the tournament run and entertaining season.

PU fans are so hungry for a title. They are like the fat kid in elementary school at recess that keeps losing and getting more pissed off each time. But he always says," one more game". They keep trying. PU is like the mole, in Whack a Mole. I would feel sympathy for them if some of my many PU co-workers weren't such angry anti-IU dicks.

I’m still in shock Purdue made it to the elite 8. I’m sure they will hang a banner, along with a parade. Somehow they figured out a way to let Virginia beat them. Virginia got away with murder throughout the tournament
Purdue was good but never great. Virginia was the best team left standing in a weak Final Four. It might be another 40 year wait for Purdue to get that close before losing again..
Purdue lived by the 3 and died by the 3. Actually it was the FT line.
