Now that the cheating has basically been legalized do you think a mediocre to slightly above average coach with deep NIL money can have a winning program? Even one that makes and can win a final four.
For example, I’ve never thought Calipari was all that great of a coach. He had the best talent year after year and besides the one Natty somewhat underperformed. Are there any other examples out there?
So is the formula that you have to have the best X’s and O’s coach or just a decent one with deep pockets?
I think you could also say being a great recruiter trumps everything else.
