What other fanbases don’t realize

Money speaks loudly. IU will need to step up big time.

While I am sure IU will "step up", I will say, once again, that money is not THE motivating factor for everyone.
My feeling about CCC is he might be one of those people.
Obviously, he will want to be fairly compensated but at this stage of his life and with him stating how much he and his family loved Bton, I think he stays put.

I don't think CC will play the money game, he is probably content at his age at when he is making now, and his wife has said that she likes Bloomington. I also think that he will advocate for his staff. So I look for them to be around for awhile unless they get a HC job.

But: if this year continues and we end up in the playoffs, he deserves a raise (I don’t know the contract details, he may have a bonus baked in already if they make Big10 champ game/win or tie for regular season champ)!
I still would want him and assistants to be rewarded!
IMO, his wife can like Btown even better with more money.
Here is an idea: free full ride to IU med school for his daughter, long as they live in-state, in Btown- ha ha

His contract provisions include significant performance based compensation and extensions.

He is already cashing, and, for example, a Natty carries a $1million bonus.
