The Bible says there are other writings…so it doesn’t contain all of it. But oral teachings then put into writing are as good as we are going to get

If the other writings were in direct conflict with the gospels and Acts then were they the teachings of Jesus?

Maybe. Hell, the four gospels aren't even always in accord with each other.
