ehh -- Purdue winning would make me feel the way Cardinals fans felt when the Cubs won the WS -- good for them! But (maybe) like the Cubs, Purdue has a better program right now and that's the part that hurtzzzzz.

I'm rooting for Houston, KS should have never been fired and he's probably the best coach there not to have a ring and Houston should have probably won it in 82 & 83, one of the best programs not to have an NC

I was rooting for Tech from the start of Tournament. If gonzaga beats them then i'll go with them. As much as I do not like to see duke and UNC win, they have never met in a title game, right? That could interesting.

Purdue isn't beating UVA. UVA's only losses have been to Duke and Florida State where they just didn't have the athletes. They're just as athletic as Purdue, shoot it better, and play better defense.

Sampson's a cheater. He's always been a cheater. Oklahoma was about to fire him when we took out their trash for them. No one should ever have hired him - least of all IU. We must never accept that at any price. His ability is completely negated by his cheating.

I have a blue uniform rule -- I despise and won't cheer for any major team with blue uniforms. This includes Duke, Kentucky, UNCheat, Kansas, Connecticut, and Purdue.

(Under the blue uniform rules, Purdue is an automatic qualifier and gets an automatic bye into the championship blue unform game of despicability.)

My deceased uncle was a graduate from IU's geology school and lived in Houston during those years. His opinion of Guy Lewis was, "he just throws the ball out there and says play". I'll never root for KS. In less than two years he hurt our program a lot and never has apologized for it.

Painter and squad arguably playing the best of any team right now. An off night by any shooter and it could be another story but I think they blow the doors off Virginia.

I hope you are correct, but I saw a new article by one of the ESPN analysts who updated the elite eight teams rankings. PU is 7 (3 seed to a 2) and UV 8 (1 seed to a 2). Purdue was lucky (again) that the game is in Louisville, as close to IN as you can get for a South Regional.

You mentioning the Eastland Mall really took me back. Since I was from Washington then we would go to Evansville so we could hit the malls. Was Pearl married while he was doing this? Evansville is a good sized city, but not that big. LoL.
