I've become a Phillies fan because of schwarb.
I already was, so obviously I was pumped when they signed him. Hopefully they extend him.
Speaking of Schwarbs, who was the IU baseball coach when Schwarbs was at IU? As
I recall the guy was really a good coach, the type usually not found north of
the Mason-Dixon line.
Well damn, he didn't leave because of the weather then, must have his eye on
coaching hockey.
As I recall, he left for a better job. Arizona State, maybe. Very good baseball program.
I guess it didn't work out there, and I don't know happened next.
This is pretty accurate. ASU, a traditional baseball power, had so-so results and Smith was let go. Landing at UM, having lost their coach to Clemson, I believe.
