Hopefully the team reminds themselves that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer
I’m not overconfident. This is the best team Indiana has ever had. They are legit Top 10 and a threat to beat any team in the nation. Great play design. Great play calling. Great understanding and execution by the players. The defense is disruptive and complimentary and each player tackles well.
We are hard to play against - the best kind of team.
Michigan cannot score enough to stay in the game, and their defense can’t stop us consistently.

This is where I fall on this. If Indiana goes up two scores, they'll win by 100. Michigan needs a score and a pick six and to muck the game up and hold on. There is no way they can play catch-up on us.
I don’t think it is “overconfidence” as much as it is just being impressed by our performances and not that impressed by UMs. Keep in mind they had 4 & 5 stars during the COVID year when we last won pretty big with a team that’s not even as good as this one. They always have them. Yes, we could lose this game if the coaches and players get overconfident and don’t prepare as well, but not if this team remains focused. This team hasn’t been all that streaky and has consistently overall performed exceptionally well. Yes, the MSU game didn’t start off well, but they proved why this team is different than any we have ever seen. I admit I was worried about overconfidence and people hyping this team more than deserved after the NW game, but since then this team has proven by what they are putting on film every week that this team is for real. Can Michigan come out and play a game like we haven’t seen them play all year? Absolutely! Is it likely? No. I feel good we will come away with a W if the team remains more locked in than the fans. 🙂
I think the fact we have a bye week before OSU that we won't be overlooking Michigan game at all.

We are fundamentally exceptional and well coached. A lot of guys still playing with chips on their shoulders. This team will not be satisfied until another team ends our season, and they don't expect that to happen.

If anything, this should be terrifying to the Suckeyes and their fans after how things turned out for Nebraska...
we have been very fortunate getting turnovers and then capitalizing on them, hope the trend continues, for some reason this game worries me,
There just needs to be a huge cover or tent over IU’s sideline just incase there are any Connor Stallions in the stands! Hope CCC and the offense have changed up every offensive signals/wordages! I’m kinda thinkn Mich will try to tap into the IU radio headsets, so can’t be safe using those! Can’t trust the zebras either as they give all the help they can to Mich! Gonna be a rough day all around for sure!
I agree on that. Their offensive and defensive lines are really good. If they had a quality QB their record would be much improved.
