Anyone saying IU isn't all in for football should finally take notice with this one.
Yep it's an arms race and if you want to compete with the big boys you have to spend like them. Or stay on the front porch.

Me either. Maybe because he's the QB coach and not the OC.I’m impressed IU stepped up to get an exciting young talent.
The salary didn’t seem outlandish to me.

I would’ve traded Walt bell away for a tackling sled and a turkey sandwich…you get what you pay forJust a couple years ago, we were paying Walt Bell, our offensive coordinator, 700K.
Paying our qb coach more then our oc from a couple years ago is what I'm excited about. It shows we're finally stepping up financially, which we haven't done in the past.
You're giving the sled and sandwich, right?I would’ve traded Walt bell away for a tackling sled and a turkey sandwich…you get what you pay for
Come on now boys, the equipment manger would have the same success with Herbert, LOLDuring Whitmer's time with the Chargers, quarterback Justin Herbert set NFL records for the most completions (1,316), passing yards (14,089) and total touchdowns (102) in the first three seasons of any player's career.

I won’t lie that this is a legitimate concern of mine. I have to imagine Cig knows far better than I do, but I hope his rep is built on more than just what took place working with Herbert. I’m put at ease knowing that QB just happens to be CCC’s specialty.Come on now boys, the equipment manger would have the same success with Herbert, LOL
