Wouldn't have surprised me in Columbus. Very surprised in Mackey. Think that's the best homecourt advantage in the conference; maybe in the country.

OSU's backcourt can be VERY good. Purdue figured that out the hard way. As did Kentucky earlier in the year. Man...beating Kentucky by 20, and winning at Mackey in the same year... I'm not sure OSU fans understand what they've accomplished. Certainly bigger than anything else that school has accomplished recently.

OSU hit 8 of 12 3s in 2nd half...tough to beat that. PU wasn't playing IU D, either. OSU just sank them.

Goes both ways. The made 3s, by themselves, doesn't overcome a 16 point deficit in 1 half. OSU's defense clamped down really well, and made it very difficult on Smith in the 2nd half.

Purdue's defense, while much more consistently solid than IUs, is similarly vulnerable against teams with good, athletic, perimeter play.
