Original SNL Replayed Tonight

I've seen it before. Amazing how much George Carlin looked like Russell Crowe. He shoilda played Carlin in a biopic when he was younger/not fat AF.

Anyone watch the THREE hour long special tonight? There were parts that were good, but a little to scripted remakes. I thought Kate McKinnon stole the show with the Pentagon alien abduction skit. She’s so damn funny.

Still my all time favorite women on SNL are Gilda and Kristen Wiig. Everything they do makes me laugh.

Oh, and I thought the musical performances were pretty awful. Paul Simon is an obvious choice to play but his duet was terrible. It wasn't just an odd pairing with Sabrina Carpenter, Paul can no longer sing as he used to. I thought the Miley Cyrus/Brittany Howard version of Nothing Compares to You just didnt work. And maybe the worst was Sir Pauls opening singing. He clearly can't hold a tune any longer. I kinda thought the Roots were the best musical performance. I'm not a Lil' Wayne fan but the Roots sounded good.

I’m not sure if I missed them but the Sweaty Balls commercial/skit is one of the funniest. Didn’t see it. And Eddie Murphy in Mr Robinson’s neighborhood was always great. Seemed a lot of skits that were left out that made the show for years.

Eddie Murphy playing Tracy Morgan on Black Jeopardy was pretty funny.
