I noticed he offers up the false equivalences to what happened in places like Portland and Minneapolis vs the January 6 rioters. To be clear, anyone who broke the law in federal buildings in Portland, Minneapolis or where ever should also be appropriately prosecuted, but it's a totally different situation than what happened in the Capitol on January 6.

These comparisons are similar to what would happen if you trespassed at a basketball game. If you walked out on the court during a sparsely attended high school game during the game, the referees would rightly stop the game and some hired security would escort you outside and tell you not to come back in. Now consider what would happen if you did the exact same thing during live action at a Final Four or NBA Finals game.

Similar transgressions, but night and day difference in consequences.
