Oh man Tyson vs Jake Paul in July

I can’t watch Iron Mike get pummeled. He’ll either get pummeled or quit, & that makes me sad.😔
I know. I’m holding out for a miracle. Or it’ll be fake and they go at 60 percent.

I’m sure it won’t be on until 11 which sucks bc I got up at fcking 5 to piss and couldn’t fall back asleep. I don’t know how I’m going to make it

4:37 am for me...goddamned diuretics.

Why so late?

I'm up every weekday morning at 1:30 for work. I'm already done and my weekend has started.

That's what I generally get during the weekdays. I'll take an occasional nap after work, but it depends on what's going on during the day.
That was me from about 15 years ago to 2 years ago. I'd get 4 good hours of sleep on the weeknights, 8 on the weekends, but then every once in a while, my body would just say, "Hey, you need 16 hours of sleep" and BAM! I'd go to bed at 4pm and not wake up until 8am the next day.
That's becoming harder to pull off now. I can get away with about 5.5 to 6 hours on the weeknights. I can only do the 4 hours per night a couple of days tops now.

Nothing worse than feeling like you didn’t sleep

Jake Paul is young, fit and game and Tyson is an old man who hasn't fought competitively for 2 decades...for those reasons alone this fight shouldn't happen.

That said, the only semi-legit boxer Paul stepped into the ring with is a previously unranked natural cruiserweight whose most impressive accomplishment is having the last name Fury...and Jake lost. Jake Paul at his very prime best would be unqualified to be Tyson's sparring partner at the end of his career. He will not show Mike Tyson anything he hasn't seen a thousand times before, it's just a question whether Mike is still physically and mentally capable of doing anything about it.

I'm not sure what what Mike has left to prove but if he is legit intent on proving it, Paul better spend 8 two minute rounds on his bicycle.

DIAF

Also, I'm up every day at min 6am. Some days 5. Weekends, 7.

My Garmin watch monitors sleep patterns, etc. and provides a sleep score every morning. Not only includes resting heart rate, but also stress (based on heart rate variability I believe), REM sleep, deep sleep, light sleep, and restlessness. My score always seems to match the way I feel in the morning, regardless of how many hours I slept. Yesterday mine was 70/100 ("fair") even though I only had 6 1/2 hours of sleep. Sunday was only 46/100 despite sleeping for a bit over 8 hours. I felt a lot better yesterday than I did on Sunday.

My highest score ever was 92, on just under 8 hours of sleep. I felt incredible that day. And no, I don't think there is a placebo effect from seeing my score, as I do not check my score every day or I assess how I feel before checking it.

A big factor for me is alcohol consumption after ~8 pm. More than one beer or drink and my score will be lower. Screen time right before bed (phone or computer) also seems to be a negative, but TV not as much.

I used to have devices that tracked things like that, but slept better after they were gone...
