Same ole same ole, talking with one of their fans today. Commented on Nebraska games for the two teams
First answer- playing o$u is everybody's super bowl.
Second answer- they were looking ahead to PSU.

Just can't admit they might not be as good as they thought they were.

Same guy told me that it was a pretty good showing against Oregon considering "they had to fly clear out to the west coast".

Always an excuse, never can admit they could be beaten by a better team.

Sure would like to kick their butts in a few weeks.
But next game up. Beat MSU.

Their fans are a$$holes, no question. But the OSU game is almost a month off. We've got important business to take care of first involving two schools from Michigan.

Go read their 24/7 site. It’s a sh*t show. Their LT was lost for the year vs Oregon and it’s completely changed what they were offensively. Lack of depth and development on their OL is rearing its head. Posters there want “name it” fired. Day, Knowles, Larry Johnson and especially Justin Frye. When you admit it’s all or nothing to not just your fan base but the world, criticism is 100% deserving if they fall short. If Day fails to make the playoffs,(forget Michigan) I will almost guarantee that the New AD and President will make a change.

That’d be a shocker to me. But then again, I’ve never seen a $20M college football team not make the playoffs.

There are a huge contingent of bandwagon OSU football fans. When you win consistently, it’s a byproduct. Knew people in my neighborhood who: were born in the state of Indiana, had no connection to the university or the state of Ohio, had no relatives in the state of Ohio, had never been to a game at OSU and yet they said they were “huge Buckeye fans.”
