Now they are after Tulsi

He took paid leave. During a crisis. Availing himself of a benefit fed ees aren’t entitled to. He’s a vapid virtue signaling pos. All talk no do. The perfect totem of the Biden Harris woke admin that america said Gtfo to. He should get a job on the view
He’s the definition of a consultant. Presentable, eloquent, well thought of.

Zero results.

The point was stepping away from a privileged life to sacrifice
Well then. Mayor Pete also is an ivy League grad, worked for a hedge fund, worked extremely hard for everything he has, served his country honorably, and tries to be a good father. He made mistakes that he may believe weren't mistakes but also doesn't hide from them. Dude is on Fox taking heat more than any other, including conservative colleagues. Not sure what gives you or anyone the right to question his man hood. You just don't like him. Which is fine. You don't think he is competent for the position he attained. That is also completely fine.

No one is questioning Pete Hegseths manhood. Only his competence. That's the point.

This is the argument that folks should be having about mayor pete. Not questioning his manhood. However, What Ty said are lies. He is either too stupid to realize he is spreading lies or he is purposely spreading lies.

Oh no no no. I think he’s a woke pussy and a virtue signaling pos. I think far worse of him than just lacking competence. He’s Al sharpton and all the rest. Good riddance. He’s exactly who we don’t want in gov.

He’s not a man. And that has nothing to do with being gay

The thing is, he was actually interesting when he first burst in the scene in the 2020 primary.

South Bend Mayor, Highly intelligent, sometimes would push back against leftist excesses. Could be a refreshing change.

Bringing him into this administration has turned him into a humanoid. I don’t know if there is a soul there anymore.

He definitely was. He exposed who was right after the election. Stick him on the view

You’d interview him and he’d be great then hire him and absolutely nothing would get done. Be sick all the time. Take every second of vacation time. Constantly want to know when he’s getting a review. Imply he’s being treated differently. Just the worst

Yeah he’s the living embodiment of modern day Ivy leaguers.

Highly intelligent. Highly capable. But we’ve somehow snuffed all innovation or unorthodoxy out of them.

They’re no longer titans of industry or change makers. But they know what to say and how to say it.

Leftism is a disease. Capitalism is also partly to blame. Our best minds shouldn’t be going to Wall St., medicine or into Law necessarily. But we’ve created a profit incentive in those industries that captures people.

lmao So true.

I was working on a project in Paris and a McKinsey consultant was brought in. We all thought, oh boy, this guy is going to give us some great tips and insights and really help us direct this project (SAP, which was fairly new at the time).

This guy comes in with his fresh hair plugs (I kid you not) and starts pontificating on such a high level that any MBA student could have come up with . No detail, no experience from previous projects - just a high level overview of what we should be doing.

Finally, someone asked him what other projects he'd been on where this had been implemented and -honet-to-god - he said "Oh, we didn't actually DO the project". We all looked at each other and started laughing. He couldn't figure out why.

Did he have the good sense to recognize the opportunity he had to shadow you? Keep his head down. Watch. And ask lots of questions? Mature and learn?

It’s a complete racket. I’m raising the alarm within UPS. Prior to and early in my time here we used to bring in management consultants.

This is feedback and suggestions you could get from going a couple levels lower and asking the employees.

Director level and above in corporate America is honest to god an 8AM-6PM filled with meetings.

So unproductive, such a waste of time. You have presumably your most experienced and talented people just talking all day.

No, he booked out of there as soon as his 2 week billing cycle was over.

You'll like this - another McKinzie gal was there, working on the project. Rarely went into the office and contributed little. The account manager told me - a peon who had just arrived there, to go over to her apartment and fire her. And then she, the account manager, put me in as project leader. They were desparate. lol

I had a technical background, which basically wow'd the management types there, so I had some cred with the European plant managers. And honestly, they couldn't care less about some directive from the US to do this project - they just wanted it to go away. and they were more than happy to let me do it.

I really liked working in Europe. Once they knew I wasn't some American a-hole there to punch my ticket, we got along great and I got to know them pretty well. The Germans and French never agreed and they looked to me to referee. The UK guys were the ones who knew what they were doing.

How many people owe their careers to that outfit. Crazy
All of this talk about real men needs to stop in the face of two Klauses, a Dietmar, a Hasso, and a Hans.

Yikes. Totally agree. Lots of brain rot today.

Isn’t there an ignore feature? Seems that’s the solution. Not bans. Weak.
The thread ban function is simply a way for the mods to kick the offenders out of a good thread so that the rest of us can keep discussing an interesting topic. It doesn't ban them from the site. It doesn't stop them from posting. It just halts their bullshit in a particular thread. It's the best tool the mods have, to be honest.

It’s takes effort to know the truth these days, you can easily tell who is single source information by their comments- Tucker or Moscow or both soon enough
My favorite part of this forum is the large number of posters who will literally repeat Russian propaganda spread through right wing puppets mere minutes after it was unleashed, and then turn around and demand other posters "think for themselves."

yeah I quit social media- in the era of AI I think it’s almost insane not to, but print media man I devour it.

There are a lot of time spent on meetings. But is it really wasted?

Good meetings create discussion and debate which is imperative for good organizations. Sitting around talking about what you did this past week is a waste of time. Actually having discussions about the future is where you can have impact.

Organizational mgmt is very difficult, particularly in large orgs.

My favorite part of this forum is the large number of poster who spew exactly what the legacy media feeds them regarding Trump, one of Trump’s picks, and then turn around and demand others sources are laughable. And they shouldn’t be prone to propaganda. They need to think for themselves.

The lack of self awareness is hilarious, just as you displayed with your post.

I was one of the only ones in my account that showed an interest in it. Helped my career tremendously.

If I was smart, I would have gone to one of the big consulting firms (Deloitte, Anderson, etc) right after SAP certification (5 weeks in Waltham, Mass. During baseball season. Take the train to see the Sox. Great time). But I stayed with my account and did OK, but I'd be driving a new corvette today if I'd gone the consulting route. Those assholes were making $300-$500/hour with my skill set over 20 years ago. Many imported from Europe.

LOL! As I’ve said before your absolute lack of self-awareness makes your posts hilariously ironic. Your head is stuffed full of misinformation, and you don’t have an opinion that wasn’t provided to you by Trump or a wingnut source. You have few or no original thoughts. You are incredibly weak minded and easily duped by misinformation. LOL!

It truly bothers me that you consider yourself a conservative. It's an embarrassment to real conservatives.

Need I remind you that you literally shared Russian misinformation about Walz? The pedophile allegation was generated by a Russian disinformation operation and spread 100s of thousands of times on social media by dupes - including you spreading it here. Even after you found out it was totally false (those with at least a room temperature IQ suspected it was false immediately) you refused to delete it or even disavow it. You're a dishonorable person forever for that. Spreading Russian disinformation isn't something an actual honorable conservative would do.

I was on call 24x7X365. Dealing with India and Philipines and everyone else we outsourced to. By the time I was 58, my health was shot and I jumped at early retirement. If I'd have stayed, I'd be dead by now - no question.

A lot of job hopping in that world. Thing is, you can make big jumps in pay each time you move.

I avoided that, but my wife actually went (she was an accountant, but an SAP 'super user'). Some harrowing tales of travel there and in Poland, of all places.

Of course, she thinks she's going to die every time she gets in the car with me.

When I'd be on calls with India, I'd hear birds chirping and monkeys screaming. Like being in the junble.

How many times are you going to say the exact same thing? I understand what you think of me. Couldn’t care less. Stop being a progressive parrot.

I still hope your wife is doing well. Peace brother.

You should feel shame.

You are disqualified from saying anyone is susceptible to propaganda because you literally spread Russian propaganda.
