ND was supposed to play the Wednesday, January 1st game, but it got moved to Thursday, January 2nd because of that tragedy.
So PSU had 2 full more days rest than ND.

Do you watch football ever?

There is literally a sideline official who is assigned to each Head Coach.
They have on a headset so they can communicate with the head official, so the head coaches can communicate with the head official through the sideline official.
Cig had one assigned to him also, like he does every game he ever coaches in.

So yes, both Freeman & Cig had a sideline official next to them they can talk to the entire game if they choose.

I watch it often enough to know that mfer is a cry baby. I'm sure they'll need a pump to suck his tears up with next Monday.
