I don't remember his recruitment at all. If he was down to two schools... how is it that we got him when we weren't one of those two schools?

He pushed his decision back...

And we got involved and sealed the deal later. I don't think he finally committed until during his senior year. Also, his rating dropped a bit. I don't know if that resulted in either of the other schools backing off, but Troy does have holes in his game. Thankfully, he is developing the ability to cover those holes up by not trying to do things he can't do.

If that were last summer or the summer coming up, could he have ended up at Louisville since Johnson is the assistant coach there? Wasn't it Johnson who recruited him to IU with Crean closing the deal?
