Assuming all the current regime will be gone, and only so far bringing in Sisley, who does IU need to go after player wise! I want high IQ, good shooting, home grown shooters that can play good defense! Is that too much to ask? I don’t follow high school basketball enough to know anything about next year’s freshman class. If there’s anyone in Indiana that fits my criteria, please share!

I know the portal is the new fad, but for the love of God, please no more $$$ chasing hacks! CMW and crew did no homework at all! None of the players fit well with each other at all! CMWs pro style did not help! Good riddance!

I am looking forward for a complete reset, but the next regime better not fart around, start getting shit right, and atleast be competent in doing so!

Just a thought, but maybe incoming recruits should have to pass a highly rated IQ/wonderlick test? Any player under an IQ score of 110 should be passed on! 🤷🏻‍♂️

100 percent depends on who the new coach is. Anyone can buy players without any thoughts to the coach and the style of play…we should all already know that.

Media could help here…why haven’t they asked Ballo “why did you come to IU”, especially after playing for very successful programs (Arizona, Gonzaga). Get him to acknowledge he was chasing paychecks first, not championships. I don’t begrudge him this but he should be honest about it (as should Woody). Media never took this head on.

Point being, Woodson had a 3 year record of improving big men's draft stock. Ballo was gonna get paid wherever he went.

Big Ten Tourney - Here we had two teams who put really really poor shooting stats, yet the game was still exciting to watch. Why?
Because they played good basketball, worked hard on defense and played smart, disciplined team offense. They just missed good looks. I don't usually watch non-IU games but this one was enjoyable. I hate Wisconsin but know it's just a jealousy thing, isn't Wisconsin basketball 90% of what IU fans wish Indiana basketball was?
What is IU's identity. We used to have one.
You can tell what kind of kid ends up at Iowa. You can tell for Wisconsin, Michigan State, Kentucky, Louisville. All have a distinct type of player that you know they fit their typical profile. Purdue, the blue collar, hard working good, but not really great athletes.
I remember Rick Majerus going on about how tough and tenacious IU guards were. That's gone.

If there is any good news here it is that You will be re-stocking a Basketball Roster, not a football roster. 3 or 4 excellent Players can make a big difference in how quickly You can turn a program around.

I started watching the WNBA when our Grace Berger turned pro. She will be going into season 3 now and I won’t watch. The WNBA is a grab, push, pull, slam player to ground when ref not looking league. No idea why they allowed this evolution.
