I'm not sure about "exactly". I wouldn't say "that ain't shit" just because what happened in Crown Heights is horribly worse. It's not hard to call out hatred and violence in both places and against anybody who is perpetuating it.

Man - when I was a kid, the handful of times I flew was out of that airport. I can't tell you the last time I was inside that airport now, but back in the 80s, I felt like that was just about the coolest place on Earth.
It’s easy to get in and out of. It’s pretty busy but efficient because it’s relatively small. There are multiple direct flight to and from DC every day which is where the majority of my business trips were. I also flew to Monterey, Newport and Phoenix several times every year.
I would definitely fly out of there if it were the closest airport to me. As it stands, I mostly fly out of Columbus. That said, I should look at Dayton - it's not that much further of a drive and if it's ever cheaper than Columbus, I should do it.
