Need more workers?

If you import a bunch of cheap labor it's going to have negative impacts on working class Americans
As a slight tangent,
Isn't there a same, disgusting and hypocritical effect due to us demanding product from China and India. Cheap labor slaves right? Our big businesses, our progressive left (they're in bed together) hate slavery... I mean, only slavery in our own country not someone else's.

The basic factor of mental health is that contributing in some way or another to society is fundamental to anybody’s mental health. For an adult, and even for children really contribution is the prerequisite to mental health, the cure for mental health problems, and the cause of mental health problems when such contribution is lacking.

I’m not even looking at it from a make money and fend for yourself perspective. Strictly from mental health perspective.

Our school system predisposes people to mental health issues. Don’t think, believe your teacher. Don’t do, memorize. Drive anyone crazy.

Which leads to another one of my pet peeves about bleeding heart liberals. They tend to be reasonably intelligent, employed, and relatively hard-working. So their bleeding heart policy is all theoretical. They don’t really understand the situation of someone who doesn’t contribute. So they come up with some cockamamie Conclusion about how to “help“ people who are, pick your liberal label, poor, indigent, underprivileged. The one missing label is the label that actually counts: non-contributing.

Some of that could be true.

I know it is true, though, that for a portion of the people with mental health problems, you have the causation exactly backwards: their mental health issue is the reason they can't contribute to society in the way you would like.

1. I wasn’t trying to suggest that that covered everybody by any means. That’s why I called it a factor.
2. There is no how I would like people to contribute. Their own morale, their own feeling of accomplishment, their own well-being, is entirely in their mind and not whatsoever in mine. 🙄
