I love how this whole CoVid-19 thing has shown how little I know about biology/vaccines/etc. I'm glad there are a lot of people smarter than myself working on it!

Just remember there is a flu vaccine as well and the numbers are still high for people that get a flu shot and still get sick. I suspect it will be no different with COVID 19, since it's just one strain of many that are out there.

The effectiveness of the flu vaccine varies from year to year.
I assume Covid will be the same (there are about 4500 different coronaviruses, tho few are this problematic).
Getting it should help but will not be a guarantee.
