Coby is a speedster, who is a gunner on our kicking team & WR. Hopefully, he takes advantage of another year.
Is it for just 2024 seniors or everyone going forward? If its everyone, I would also be more inclined to find top guys coming out of a JUCO because they would have lots of experience and an extra year of eligibility. If its just seniors, then nm.

Given that this was a result of the courts, I would imagine that there will be some form of extra eligibility moving forward.
According to an NCAA memo, the waiver extends an extra year of eligibility in 2025-26 to athletes who previously "competed at a non-NCAA school for one or more years" and otherwise would have exhausted their NCAA eligibility following the 2024-25 season.
I don't know about this Anderson guy but I hope Andison Coby gets another year too....

Yes, according to recent NCAA rulings, former JUCO players who would have exhausted their eligibility in the 2024-2025 season can play an additional year in 2025-2026due to a waiver granted by the NCAA, primarily stemming from a court case involving Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia; this essentially allows them to compete in 2025.

This extra year of eligibility only applies to those who would have otherwise finished their NCAA eligibility in the 2024-2025 season and previously played at a JUCO.
